just a simple question: since ur posting somewhere else ur making builds for gvg, have u even played gvg in this meta?

well, they won because it's as equally unbalanced as b-spike,
other guilds aren't top 50 by playing it? 4 builds in the top 8 were sinsplit
the sins really aren't as bad as the ineptitude mesmers, you can get their split, but you'll still get owned at vod cause you can't do anything cause of the mesmers -_-

and they get morale boost as easy as pie by slow-overload

the (very) few options i see against the build on first sight are:

-melandru derv ftfw
-owning their split

and could you please stop calling people idiots etc. it's not very polite, and it makes you look like a twelve year old.

It's ridiculous how much people bitch these days. There were no cries of 'the game is dead' or 'gvg is a joke' back when builds like ranger spike were around. People actually bothered to adapt to the current gimmicks, and eventually they got balanced out or people just stopped running them.

Take the counters, and cry less. Aspects of the build do need toning down, but it's hardly of SB/RI or triple AoE smite proportions.

And you can cry a river forever about sineptitude, that is the attitude of new generation people in whole world. People tend to complain far too much about the problem, when they could do something and counter it properly.

Not that it's any of your business, but yes I have played gvg in this meta, and at a decent level. From the posts you and your guildmate have made, I highly doubt you've ever played above the rank300 level.

And to bloodspike. Tell me what is overpowered in it? It can't do 3 2 1 spike lolurdead. It does 3 2 1 spike skill#1 1-2second cast skill#2, if you die to that, you deserve to. Interrupts, kd lockdowns, anything will kill the spike.

i want to see me win the next monthly with a balanced build very bad, and then i'll have respect for them, they don't even have to win, top 16 is enough for me

or even stay on their rank with balanced, then I'ld gladly say they are a decent guild and they deserved to win the mAT, but not right now

and if it's so easy o kill b-spike, why do topguilds keep losing to them over and over???

What the hell does that have to do with anything? Obviously if you buy/somehow get into the guild noone thinks anything of you. If you think sin split and inept requires more communication than any other build splitting you're funny, requires less... Mesmers camp their called war all game, throw a snare here and there when needed, sins call for out of range or bad positioned player and nub stomp it, lots of talent there.

I'd have to agree with JR quite a bit on this one. My Guild and I haven't played seriously for about a year, but frankly seeing new strategies win and having people rethink things looks refreshing from an outside perspective.

Sure it seems frustrating and imbalanced, but folks will figure a way around it and things will change (as they should). A ton of folks were yelling how things were stagnate just a few days ago (and they were), but now they get mad that someone took advantage of that? If this is now the new 'imbalanced' or stagnate thing, do what they did and mix it up.

Then again, it is possible components of it are imbalanced, but the amount of whining and bitching seems a bit over the top. However, I still am glad to see a new face show there are other ways to win in the stagnate meta.

Edit: I will however say that re-balancing and changing VoD a few days prior to an MAT was a bad idea and made the situation even more favorable to a split.

yes we're rank 690 now, we have just reformed yesterday after a period of inactivity and playing with funbuilds

have done some gvg's today in wich we beat their split hard, but then in vod, try doing a thing against 2 ineptitude, you got a warrior or a ranger that can't do a darn thing
