We kept winning because we had good players, not because we had a good "build." I knew when to lineback, the rangers knew what to interrupt (lol res sigs) and when to act offensively. And the monk was WM Berry... that might've had something to do with it. We got over 30 wins before people decided to leave.
Also, I think the best TA builds are 2-rangers. If the rangers are good, it's easy wins.

Makes me miss the warrior, cripshot, mel's arrow, monk teams in TA. Those were so fun to play, as you had massive disruption and degen, and your defense really depended on your player's skill and ability to disrupt both offensively and defensively.

Tough to gauge the best combo for RA since it depends a lot on individual skill. When monking, it seems to me that curses necros, hammer warriors and intelligent rangers cause the most problems for myself or my team. Generally the strongest builds imo consist of a monk, support/offense, and 2 heavy hitters. Support can consist of B Surge, Curses, weapon rit, illusion mes, etc.
I usually step out at 30, and in the times I've done that (from RA) it has been with a different build every time. Unlikely builds can go a long way with the right players.

D/W Reapers, Stances (me, selfmade build)
E/? blind surge
A/Mo SoJ spike
Mo/A ZB
but then i had decided that day to run builds with profs i dont use much, Derv - rarely, Para - never(since 2 days ago:P) but para got 10 wins hard way with me palying support, reason it was good was it was the monks first time palying monk in RA lol ^^

But RA still fails because the chances of getting these combinations is too narrow and the time it takes now, having to w8 til ur team's dead & all... it's too time-consuming!

If Ascalon arena counts, then 132. It was forever ago, and we had:
2 Me/N - Fragility Spike(Pre-nerf, Drok'd out)
1 N/Me - Life Transfer Degen
1 Mo/Me - I forget, but it worked.
Too bad there weren't glad points, and if there were too bad they didn't count for Ascalon arena.
My best for RA, though, isn't impressive. 24 wins.
Me - E/A Augury spike
ZB/Stance Monk
Another E/A Augury spike(This one was water!)
A/W - Shadow Prison
The most impressive thing about this build was our ability to take out 3 targets at the same time, which was kinda fun. Beat some poor team 19-0 on the kill count map.

14 wins, all flawless except for the last one.
Me: Curses Necro
Teammates:
Rt/Mo Healer
W/E Shock Axe
Played 6 games with a MM necro (Still got 6 flawless XD)
Rest with Enchanter's Conundrum spiker
Pretty much rolled every team we played until we played a TA team with 2 Expel Hexes Paragons and 2 monks so it ended up being a draw >_>

The best RA team I've ever had was with 3 top 100 players in the same team.
Myself on axe warrior (from [Band])
R/Mo with magebane (from [frag])
WoH monk (from [roar])
A hybrid rit guy with bloodsong, warmonger's, ancestor's rage and restoration spells
The team setup was more like that of a balanced TA team but we only got 15 flawless consecutives because people had to go. Despite not that many wins, it is by far the best RA team I've been in.

Of late I have been in many teams that go through to TA with or without monks, kill a few other RA teams that have made it through, then get rolled by the 3 * Monk 1 warrior shadow stepping spike team build that seem way too common in TA.
Teams with a healer of course tend to go better, but frequently you get people with self heal like Dervishes that go far. Mesmers for some reason tend to be a liability, there are a lot of them in RA, and they die early. Not sure why, I don't have much trouble when I play one. But then I bring self heal other than Ether Feast.
I often get long runs in teams with a spirit spammer, not one that camps and expect to the enemy to come to them, but proactive ones the move with the party.
Best run so far was 27 consecutive, the team was W/E, D/W, M/E and me playing a Channeling Rit. I might have had a better run than that a month ago but I couldn't find the screen cap.

Best run that I remember was:
W/A (Backbreaker build with death's charge) -> me
Rt (all I remember is Ancestors' Rage and warmonger's weapon)
R/Mo (typical Burning arrow ranger with his 2 interrupts and the poison thingy)
Mo/A (all I remember is him having return)
We lost 20th match against 1mo and 3x Me.
