(the beauty about it was that at the beginning all were like "ah well, screw it, lets have some fun" - and after our first win in Team arena we felt like the kings of the world

I don't believe this (certainly not without a screenshot). Using a game length + waiting times of at least 3 minutes per game, that is more than 9 hours straight gaming, without being able to go afk longer than a minute.

I can believe it, many games are decide fast, even in TA, people just decide to leave or resign if they see it is futile, many fights can therefore last short, 45-60 seconds, especially if team members are naturally sensing what is needed to disrupt the enemy. 90-120 secs per fight might be very reasonable. Yes, it will still have taken considerable time, but it is certainly not undoable.

Yes, it was extremely long. It was on a Saturday, and I was gonna hop on GW for a second right before lunch. When I got that team, I knew it was special. We rampaged and rampaged for hours. One time I randomly went in and had 3 silver capes and a gold -- all from different teams. It was random too, no synching. Not only that, it was 2 wars, a ranger, and a monk. I nearly wet myself, and was planning on running for another 100+ streak. Then we lost at 6 to some spirit spamming fags -_-

I had another time where I ended up on a team with 4 wammos and won like 33 in a row.

pre nerf boa sin with 2 monk backup.. ele was an air spiker. It didn't feel like we ever would have lost to be honest. Don't let that power attack warrior fool ya, we faced some real tough teams in that run. When we got 30 our monk had to go to school so we all just quit. I was hungry anyways lol.

One Friday Night I went in as an Expel Hex/Rest Rit
Got teamed with another Resto Rit who just ahappend to have Different spirits than me. With a Sin and a Warrior we rolled 10 Flawless. Thne folks quit as the other Rit said he only does RA and never TA.

The next morning I was waiting on one more guildie to log on sos we could TA and I entered as a Thumper, since that was what I was going to do in TA, ya know to warm up. I landed the same Rit guy from the night before and we rolled another 10 wins.

Randomness FTW.

First NF Preview, After That preview CoP was nerfed!.

20 same NF preview, using D/A with Sand Shards, Way of the Empty Palm + some off hand no leading. The run was over with a new build of guild wars...

Had one with echo SF, got 10 wins then people left. Had a monk, warrior, can't remember others

Couple of days ago got 12 with a modified Pack Hunter, Air ele with no elite, Fire Ele with Savannah Heat, and a Mo/A with daggers, running signet of judgement and sin skill utilising that

To this day I still can't figure out how we went that long. We were finally brought down by a very good interrupt ranger that DShotted/SavShotted my spirits. That ranger made me drop Ghost Mirror Light for Weapon of Warding permanently.

Well... hey, if people can sit and do PvE whole day, you can as well assume people can focus on PvP when needed. I don't know if the guy actually got to so many wins, but I have no reason not to believe him.

Check the screenshot right on the screen. It's from Prophecy days, TA team. After 5hrs didnt lose but went to sleep (was 5am), and to tell you honestly, it was tedious. I don't think I would've be able to play for 9hrs like Blame the Monks. OK maybe if it wasn't that late.. i dunno.

So it's kinda possible to get so many wins, if, if you can focus for such a period of time. It's very likely that your focus will drop one game and you can easily lose (almost happened to us after 80 wins, but Priest rezed us 1sec before they killed him).

ps: looking at this thread, ZB monk overpoweredness

we have won 60 in row in TA we stop becouse we get tired !time we play= almost 4 hours. and you get 184 without getting tired or need some drink or wc ?? mmmm not sure of this! so you played +-10 hours without drink or something?

Way back in the day when I was forced into doing a boonprot for the first time I wanted to get used to the bar so I went to do some RA while waiting for the rest of our team to form. I ended up on a team with 2 eles and a Warrior and we went 29 games in a row. My guild was nagging me on vent (because at this point they were all waiting on me) but I couldn't leave until we lost...because...you know...you just can't when your on a streak like that in RA.

It angers the pwnage gods.

There's plenty of time in between games to throw something in the microwave or grab a drink (or even go to the bathroom if you're quick).

And 9 hours isn't that bad. During a weekend it isn't unheard of. As long as you aren't facing really good competition often during that time, it isn't even that tiring. When all you do for the majority of games is run in, press a couple buttons, and the opposing team dies, then you're set.

When I use to pve a lot with [Tor] and a few of them got to 200. I wish I had the ss, but it is very possible for a great player like blame to get 184.
