Replace Dash for Feigned Neutrality and put at least 6 into Shadow Arts. Feigned allows you to run away at normal speed and take significantly less damage, something the 33% buff of Dash does not provide.

Ewwwww Shadow Prison Assassin
But in all seriousness i dislike this build...being on both sides of it playing it is so simple you can do 3 other things at once with half your brain missing and still do it
I would say to answer your question, personally i'd lose dash for a self heal.....but thats just me.

Otherwise try a different build set-up, Temple Strike builds are popular in AB and are pretty easy to use aswell
Look through wiki for enchant builds though.

Dark Prison is kind of sucky. Your best bets are to:
1. replace it with Siphon Speed (does a good job of keeping you alive, 2ndary Hex)
2. go /W for an IAS like Tiger Stance
3. go /Mo for Restful Breeze

If you're runnin sp tramp then you'll need a +30 shield and + 30 (sword, axe, w/e u like). Shadow refuge is ok, but back when the old sp was around I ran Feigned Neutrality

/Mo for Restful Breeze or you could pump a few points in shadow arts for Feigned Neutrality/Shadow Refuge.

getting an elite would help too.
and get rid of superior attribute runes. that will give you a bigger health buffer to stay alive.

Thank you very much for the replies.
Recently, I tried changing Dark Prison for Siphon Speed and Dash for Restful Breeze and so far, it's been doing great.
Actually, I'm still a newbie at this so I just often try the builds written here in this forum. I can't seem to find where the other builds for PvP~AB are though. I checked the forum a while back but the ones I found where for PvE.
Is Shadow Prison really that bad? I like it for the Shadow Stepping.

Moriz must have misread...
DARK Prison is sucky. The recharge is unacceptable IMO. SP, on the other hand, is really good (it caused many people nightmares in its heyday)

These two skills on your skill bar are a good deal of fun in AB:
[skill]Way of the Fox[/skill][skill]Temple Strike[/skill]
This may not have the highest DPS but its a good and quick shutdown for both casters and melee

i run SP and get 10+ kills easy with no deaths, just dont teleport unless you KNOW you can get away, and switch your dark prison for siphon speed.

Too bad AB isn't mainly about killing people but capping shrines.

Yes, good thing there isn't anyone trying to cap your shrines or prevent you from capping theirs.

There is an elite, Shadow Prison, which for a max of I think 7 seconds makes target foe's speed decline by 66%. This annoys me SO much when a sin does this. The only way to prepare for this is to have a monk use spirit bond + prot spirit. Either that, or target the sin, and as soon as the shadow step is initiated, attack. Also, take Feigned Neutrality or Shadow Refuge in place of Dash, and instead of Dark Prison, use Tiger Stance for an IAS. It helps since that build easily makes you move almost literally nowhere, and with the KD and high attack, the foe is as good as dead.

I'm a shadow prison sin and there's a bunch of counters but the most effective is hex breaker, shiled bash, and guardian. it's not really shadow prison that's the strength of the build its really the fast spike that's followed. and AB has alot o stuff goin on around u sometimes so a sin could pick a monk of easy. but really a mobious sin is the best to use in AB since it doesn't require a hex. Tiger stance is a good IAS but i like flurry better since you attack faster and it recharges as soon as it ends. also u can kite out of alot of situations for instance use vamp daggers when attacking and switch to a shield sword set with a few counters to whataever u come accross

Hi again. Thank you for all the insights and suggestions. As well as the link to the build wiki. I've been trying them all out and so far have come to some realizations and so I've modified my build.
Initially, I tried modifications to the SP Assassin Build that I was using. But I realized that after pulling off a combo and effectively killing a player, I would need to wait for my skills to recharge before I could be of some use to my team. Capping also seemed to be rather difficult (if separated from the team) since I can only kill one at a time. So after doing some experiments, I came to a conclusion that maybe SP is not so effective in AB so I tested out the other builds.
I tried the AoD~Shock Assassin. It was a fun run. I could kill fast and could cap as well. My only dilemma was energy management so I tried changing a few skills. Still, this build was great and fun. But it did not seem to fit my playing style.
So I spent a lot of time playing with skills, winning some more battles (and getting my first title ), and ultimately fighting against other assassins and learning from them. There was also this E/A that was pretty good and a Mo/A. I didn't realize until I fought them that Eles and Monks can wield daggers as good as an Assassin could.
So after some more time, I came to use this build:
Still an A/Mo:
Shadow Fang --> Jagged Strike --> Wild Strike --> Death Blossom --> Moebius Strike
The Other Three Skills I use are Critical Defenses, Restful Breeze and Dash.
I use Dash to run from shrine to shrine. Restful for self-heal and Critical Defenses so I could live longer. Death Blossom seems to be good at capping as the NPCs stick together. Shadow Fang allows me a good 10 seconds to fight and kill my target. If ever I fail to kill my target, the damage from Deep Wound and Bleeding should be enough to kill the target when I return to my original location. So far, I'm very happy with this build. Wild Strike also allows me to kill Rangers now.
But I noticed that there are some builds that I couldn't kill. Particularly AoL Necromancers or Protection Monks. I'm having problems with them as their Enchantments nearly nullify any form of damage I deal. If I place the skill Assault Enchantments, I'll lose my Moebius or if I change with Gaze of Contempt, I'll lose Restful Breeze. This problem, I cannot seem to find a solution to.
Also, someone told me that it would be better to change Jagged with Lotus Thrust. So it will be Cripple instead of Bleeding. Which of the two is better?
Thank you for your time. And apologies for the newbish questions.
