I always get lag when playing against americans, had storm djinns haste interrupted by a bulls strike in one game.

Its impossible to interrupt when playing against americans with a 600 ping, it screws all timing up tbh, cancelling to avoid diversion is made nearly impossible towards the end of a cast.

Europe covers a much larger land mass so we have much higher pings than anyone else, EU servers cover everywhere from eastern Russia to Ireland so a lot of people have to put up with terrible pings regardless.

Does it really matter if its off the rails?

The way i see it is that ping is an issue that people want to discuss, its not turned into a flame war and its the only thread in this section that isnt about sinsplit.

Id rather see some sort of closure on the issue of latency here rather than having to read through a few pages of random ebaum/lolcat images and +1whoru posts on QQ forums.

It's nothing but speculation about pings/lag with no real foundation, in some kind of euro/american whine-fest.

Its not a hard thing to prove, the little ping dot will tell you the IP of the server your connected to and you can do a whois search on it to find what continent its on.

Ive not done it while in gvg games but a couple of times ive tried it in pve and ive found myself playing on american servers even if im just playing with hero/hench in english districts.

I am referring to the 'we lag more!', 'no WE lag more!', 'no WE LAG MORE' arguements.
