why would anyone want chaos gloves anyway? they're a terrible skin. they make your toon look like they have a horrible hand disease. "hi. i was such a bad player that the monsters ate my hands off and now all i have are these ghost things where my hands used to be." no ty.
any pvper with terrible taste should be allowed to wear them.

I don't sign because there are So Many things that ANet needs to be focusing on. Like, last months monthly Disaster. Any word on that? Teams loading in with between 0 and 2 people? Good teams not even making it to the playoffs while Luck entirely decided it's champion? No, I think that the last thing anet needs to worry about is how pretty the pvp community looks.
If you want pve equiptment, PvE.
If you want Zaishen Keys, PvP.
It's not hard. There is exclusivity to each side, and it balances out. Not to mention there is no need for anyone to waste rps on skins when they can sell Z-Key gold for Real money.

Give them the freaking gloves, the PvP crowd is so small anyway it makes no difference to the game or the ecto market if the get them for free even.
Or better, make them pay 75 Z-Key's for the gloves.

and take out their elite armors, they were meant for pve players in the first place.

The majority of PvP'ers also started in PvE.
Nice reasoning there.

I don't see how this harms poor wittle PvE players. The smart ones know that PvP > PvE in every way imaginable. So, definitely, share the love.

Sure. If ANet also gives PvE players a /rank emote, linked to KoaBD title track.
Also don't link it to tournament points but just put a crafter in a PvP outpost. THe required materials can be gathered with a PvE char or bought.

if you ignore evey pve players comment on /rank on KoabD this thread makes sense.
we pvp players should be able to get more things from R/P's, especially GW:EN stuff.

If it was available to PvP it wouldn't be PvE-only.
As for your own argument, why should PvP'ers get PvE gear from PvP'ing?! Infact, they should remove that!

The thing I don't understand with all of these "who should have what" threads is "Why does anyone care what the other people have access to?"
Many of you play in two different communities and rarely meet: How does giving a PvPer who only PvP's some Elite armor hurt the PvE community?
Look inside and ask yourselves why do you care if a PvPer can follow a seperate progression and get PvE items?
There is no game mechanical advantage to anyone to have any special gear. All reasons to have Elite items fall under two categories: One, you like how it looks, or two, you like from having something that you earned that someone else can't get easily.
Lets face it: it's all about boasting and bragging.
You're so vain. I bet you think this song is about you.

Because the average exclusive PvE player that browses these forums thinks PvE is difficult and not just time consuming. Also they're concerned about their dicks.

If ANet are going to go and allow PvP'ers access to PvE items through reward points then they should go the whole mile and allow everyitem in PvE to be bought in PvP using aforementioned RPs.
Not doing so is just silly.

Add that with the fact it's a hell of a lot harder to unlock Exotic Weapons through RP's than to get 75 ecto.

With your logic i should be able to get a gold trimmed cape doing things in PvE. It's just vanity, it doesn't give an advantage, I don't see what the problem would be. Rigghtt?
