Chaos Gloves for everybody!
I'd like to propose a little update which would make pvp characters equal to pve ones.
AN let us (pvp plyers) have some wepons skins and armors for RP (tournament reward points). Anyways pvp characters still can't wear sunglasses, chaos gloves or blindfold. My proposition is to let pvp players have it for rp.
I think it's obvious that such things shouldn't be easy to get. I think that all of them should require fancy armor unlock or we can even make "Exotic Armors" which would be GWEN collector's items.
My idea of price list is simple: Chaos Gloves would cost 300rp and the rest of this GWEN colletor's items would cost 100 rp each except glasses which would be 50rp.
AN Don't push pvp players to play something they don't want to get something they want (). Make it expansive, but possible to get for RP.

I can only guess that Anet hasn't bothered to update because their statistics show no-one is using the RP for anything but Zaishen keys.

I don't pvp much (been trying to get back into it recently) but I think everyone deserves the right to beat people blindfolded also.

Very seldom do I ever PvP, but while I think there should be some unique items that are separate between the two play types there is no reason not to give most armor or collector skins to PvP'ers. Getting to look good (or what you consider to be looking good - I don't want chaos gloves) without having to participate in the parts of the game that you don't want to play makes sense.

Well that only shows that you don't know too much about pvp. I mentioned that this kind of items should cost a lot of RP which are not possible to get without skill in pvp. Who said that pvp character can't look nice?

Pvp players have no effect on pve play or the community. I say let them have whatever they want for thier toons. As a pve player I know for a fact that whatever they're doing isn't hurting me. Anet can just add all that extra stuff in for free for all I care.

/unsigned. play pve if you want pve items. or do it the old fashioned way and max a pve character for the sole purpose of pvping on it.

As someone who is primarily a PVE player (only rank 4 fame) I would say that this seems reasonable...with one trade off. IF PVP continues to gain access to PVE rewards then PVE should have access to PVP rewards (such as rank emotes).
I know I am resurrecting an old topic but I see PVP requests for more access to PVE rewards and then search old topics to see the very negative response from some PVP'ers to requests for PVE emotes. If we are going for a homogenous reward system where PVP an PVE are not separated then it needs to be fully integrated not done in a piecemeal fashion.

Bonhart needs something to cover his weakness :P.
Anyway if Obsidian is available, every kind of armor pieces should be accesible by RP.

As long as you allow PvE players to get a PvE equivalent of /rank emotes, I'm all for it...

You do know that all the skill nerfs that are ruining your PvE builds are a direct result of PvPers exploiting those skills right??? So... Yes, what happens in PvP-Land effects you. However, how much this particular subject will effect you is unclear.

If Anet makes the /rank title track linked to the KoaBD title, then perhaps.
