This battle was from today at Ancestral Lands. Score was 460 or so for the kurzicks and 100 for luxons. My monk and I were just running around killing anyone that came by. We go by a shrine where a Warrior was trying to cap it, he ran up to me and first skill he uses was Gladiators Defense. Both of us were laughing our asses off on vent staring at him. Both of us did the /laugh, /clap emote, spiked him down and danced. By then we won 1.5k kurzick points and destroyed that guy's pride in 10 minutes. GG

Hehe, the only way out of that is walking towards the base defender and be killed / spawn outside again, but no-one ever does that . The fort is the reason I hate/love Ancestral Lands/Kaanai Canyon. Everyone is allways so obsessed in capping the fortress. No1 reason of losing in ancestral (im luxon) is people wasting time trying to rambo the fort .
Im a E/A close range AoE damage spammer, and its allways a joy when im attacking a bot monk on a rez shrine and 2 sins run at me to take me down. Three corpses within 5 seconds

rambo'ing the fort is actually a very good way to win, assuming that you are successful. problem is, surviving in there is a bit of a crapshot and depends significantly on the incompetence of your opponents, so i generally don't try it.
here's my little contribution.
i was playing my cripshot as a kurzick on kaanai canyon. i just finished solocapping one of the attack shrines when a toucher and a monk ran up. my first thought was: "shit, there goes the shrine. npcs can't kite the toucher."
but strangely enough, instead of going for the npcs, the toucher went straight for ME. so i put up my defense set, chain-casted troll unguent, and mending touch'd the conditions that he was plague touch'ing onto me. i stood there and tanked him for a solid minute, before reinforcements came and killed the monk, and allowed me to kill the toucher.
moral of the story: playing touchers makes you stupid. don't do it!

I love using different builds and I tried the toxic chill spiker (N/A) bar with an enchant removal instead of disrupting dagger, and I loved how funny it was I could solo aganist sins. (yeah most use repeat builds that cant solo casters)
They would run up to me and then run away after the 1st hit... Wow! How simple is that?

Funniest moment ever was when I was playing a kurzick wammo and one of the luxons said "omfg why can't I use my suspear res sig" I replied "its a pve skill, notice the big padlock." To which he replied " Oh I didn't see that."
Its things like this that make ab funny but also make me lose faith in humanity.

I was on my Rt/A and found myself dead after my group met another trying to cap shrines. I rezzed alone (the rest of my team finished off the other group and survived) and found a W/A and a fire ele capping the rez shrine. Being the rambo type that i am i got down to killing the ele then started on the warrior but by this point i was seriously low on health. I did what any brave, courageous, tough person would do and i ran. The warrior followed...i ran some more...the warrior still followed...straight towards my base...where i ran in...and he followed...and died. Surprising how people still do that.
I then laughed, met up with my group again and carried on. Much fun

It was yesterday in Saltspray. I was playing as a warrior. I was killed by a mob and got rez'd solo. I went to the ritualist shrine and killed him off to cap. As soon as I did a paragon runs up to fight me but decides it's a bad idea to do it as soon as I had some NPC's on my side, so he ran. I decided to give chase and try to 1v1.
Just as he passed a corner around an indent in the jade waves he trys to attack me. I start wailing on him and he realizes I have more firepower then he does so he trys to kite me. I hadn't had enough adr. built up for Cripslash yet, because my For Great Justice hadn't recharged from the cap fight. So I ran around an hung out in the indention until he would run back and I would peg him a few times, he would run back hoping I would follow.
Instead of giving up he kept doing this for a while. We were getting no where, until I just had enough for Cripslash. I faded back more and lead him to believe I was giving up and he ran completely around the wave and bam. Crippled and dead.
We both laughed about it. It was pretty ridiculous

If you want interesting stories, go play Fort Aspenwood. If you thought AB was crap, take a look at this...
