Keep a straight face and tell me you wouldn't sell a guild for $800.

You can eeassssily make much more than that by selling invites then selling the in game money for real money. So, he is a thrifty business man.

£250 worth of ingame items or real money?
Its not a huge amount either way, but you still gotta be really sad to buy a cape since it really means nothing when worn by someone without the skill needed to earn it.

At 15k an invite it would take a while to break even and thats not considering the time your selling the invites has a value, roughly £8 an hour for an unqualified person.
If gold is worth £8 for 100k from a website you would only be able to get a fraction of that back re-selling it yourself, thats a lot of invites you gotta sell for a guild with only 99 possible spaces. not worth the fuss unless you live in a really poor country.
