oh, I didn't see glyph. It combons nicely with rebirth for a hard rez...but rezzing someone with 0 energy is lame. I still go with concussion shot, because a covered dazed is nothing to sneeze at, plus our ranger needs an interrupt, and I haven't seen savage or d shot yet.

hmm...i don't see ms on the list of stuff that we already picked, but it might just be not displaying correctly. if that's the case i'd definitely go with glyph. if not, concussion shot.

Met Shower is on the list.
An E/Mo with Glyph Sac, Met Shower AND a Hard Rez is a very powerful player in this format, even if the hard rez is Rebirth. >.<
Maybe our team mate across the table got that Rez Chant we passed up before. :-D

I would choose Concussion Shot, because it is much more likely to end the game before VoD. Covered Daze is scary in draft if coordinated with offense on the other monk, and there are only a few skills that effectively counter it.

But we have two copies of Bull's Charge, Eviscerate and at least one powerful Ele; it seems to me that in a game where heals are scarce anyway, the game won't last long.

the thing is that glyph sac isn't only going to be saved until vod to use on npcs. when placed right, it can easily devastate a group and end up causing damage they can't heal in such a short amount of time--perfect to follow it with an adren spike in the middle of chaos when they're running from ms. conc. shot is good, but if the opponent has martyr or draw or rc, it's not nearly as effective

Glyph Sac + Met Shower isn't really hot anywhere but on a bunch of NPCs that won't run out of it. You use it in other places because it's already on your bar, but it's not something you bring in a serious attempt to damage the other team.
Also, don't take Draw or RC for granted in draft - that's two skills out of hundreds, and the odds of the opponent not having either is pretty high. Besides, you can always put the Daze on the RC monk. Stacked conditions in draft are incredibly powerful because the removals we all take for granted often just won't be there.
There just aren't a lot of condition removals in this game. I don't think we got a single one in all our draws at the PAX sealed play event. The odds of the opponent not having a Draw are really quite high.

I'd be tempted to draft ward against foes as kind of a hate draft pick that could fit on an ele bar or a dom mesmer's bar. However, given that we already have soul leech, my pick would have to be blood ritual in case team build includes a blood necro. If the blood necro doesn't pan out, then blood ritual could also work its way onto a dom mesmer's bar.

I'd go with Ward Against Foes here. As I mentioned, kiting is very powerful in draft and tools that help you kite are key. I don't like Blood Rit because it means standing around for long periods of time and then sacking health, in an arena that's going to be heavy with warriors. Even in normal play when I see someone with Blood Rit I'll usually sit on their face once energy is low and punish them for attempting to use it.

Foes, though Riposte would be leetsauce on the monk. However, shield bash might be better than Riposte.
