I haven't played this new D/Mo way but you generally beat it by shutting down self-healing and then interrupting Pious Light. I'm guessing the R/Ds don't have any condition removal or heals? Just degen out the R/Ds and train the D/Mo, hopefully getting a lucky Rend/Shock on his Pious Light (Pious Concentration sucks).

I played several teams like this over the past week. They are incredibly annoying because attacking them isn't very effective due to escape, but they can't really kill anything either, they just run all over the map, which I find pretty lame.

I wonder how the old school NR TA build with an apply cripshot with debil, shock/bull's warrior (wild blow sometimes was run on this bar), oath trapper with NR, barbed, dust, d-shot, throw dirt, and a monk with draw, evasive stance, and quarter second enchants would fare against the TA gimmicks of today. Penalizes maintened enchantments (i.e. healer's convenant), long casting enchantments (guardian), and hexes.
Unfortunately, a large chunk of the damage comes from degen and patient spirit could pose a problem. Several consecutive debils on the patient spirit user could help counter that some.

Do you mean warmongers on a melee or warmongers on a spear user? Only a warmongered paragon or R/P using a spear would cause a problem (oathed throw dirt is still an option here). Executing the build I described, the monk kites toward dust and barbed traps and has an evasive stance as an additional fail-safe (natural stride being a possible choice to also allow the monk to kite to the traps faster). With 2 d-shots, a savage shot, and shock in the build, interrupting warmongers is also a possibility.

Havent seen it yet...
I have played 3 R/D though. It was pretty decent, but not exeptional. And like many other gimmicks it gets owned by one single skill; grasping earth.

I dont rly think this is hard to beat. Any decent hexway will crush it and with 2 warrs just bring wild blow and roll em.
But yes, its annoying, fairly strong and again very easy to play thus noobs will like it. ppl already started running this so we expect boom in a few following days.

Why is the OP's avatar a person chugging Pepto Bismol.
I think that is more disturbing than the gimmik.

Yeah I faced this new gimmick this evening...We killed 2 of them somehow, mostly thanks to our necro, but since most of my team was melee (RA team lawl) we lost due to wtfconstant block >:

Unfortunately due to magebane the oath trapper is no longer viable. Probably fair very well against the common gimmicks though.

I think a EDA Scythe dervish with Wild Blow would do the trick(keeping you alive that is).

Wild blow is problematic as u need to recharge any adrenal skill, they may have activated another stance or even escape again.
Defile defenses can be harmful, but it is only once per 5 seconds, no real solution either.
This is just a big invite to monkstomp, and in the mean while you snare the R/D's
