BTW i just got pwned hard by some rpsike with barbs + order oO was so painfull. We tried this on the isle, OMFGWTF 1200+ dmg oO

add 3 monks, and a support N/Rt, then /resign

so broken...

technically the rangers can't pull of the spike w/o the mesmer or para/rit so it's 5 spikers not 3

also ranger spike can be blocked, can be destroyed by a line of sight issue, and is not life stealing

so in all fairness it's equal to blood/rit spike if not worse

Rigor is rspikes answer to teams that rely on weapon of warding to babysit the ghostly hero on altar holds. It is very rarely used on spikes otherwise.

the few rspikes that bring rigor have it on there caller which means that hes ethire going to be late on spike giving you room to infuse or the rigor will be early which means you can prot it

rspike is not overpowered if it was any scrub would be abel to take it and win halls with it like r/d very few teams are actually good at it

also borat it might help if you ran a mesmer in your build and mabey if you had some actual pressure and hard targets

Like the PUG rspike that got to HoH yesterday? They were fighting on Cap Points, after they collapsed at center, and base rezzed (Bue had their base capped), they simply left their base to go try and cap center again, not even capping it (They left it neutralized)...

for all you know they could have skipped from uw(which happens quite often now since hardly anyone has) one bad example cant be used to generalize a build te used to play iway in halls are you going to say they werent skilled the guys from prp that joined iq played rspike are you actually going to try and say they werent skilled lol

also how those that adress what you quoted i did say win didnt i? clearly in your example they lost , builds dont win halls good players do

Rspike is overpowerd! The thing is most of the people you see running it are not great at it but when you see a good team running it you see how overpowerd it is. But i am not saying it is unbeatable but the overall team is very tough to take down and with a very powerfull spike and a very quick repeating spike it makes it very hard to tackle. Useing the walls works very well but with most of the maps in HA this is not an option.

Let's see, R26 Guild, R8/9+ Rspike... (They had a wolf)

Look at Morale Chart... Look at timer...

So all of you "r-tards" saying you should "pressure" them down, well you guys are calling a R26 guild baed? (Mind the "e")

Near 9 minutes, is that what U guys had in minds for pressure to start applying?

Look at Morale again, you can even see the Rspike dying a couple of times, but their kills get the upperhand...

Worse, even look at the long streches in the red line... These stretches obviously mean "clean" pressure, seeing no-one dies... The second one lasts about a minute, is THAT enough pressure, 1 intire minute?

You guys miss the point, it's not that you CAN'T beat Rspike, it's the fact that you CAN'T beat them if they don't want you to...

3 Rangers spamming interrupts, and a active snare for the Warrior eliminates any form of pressure. (Look at the Morale chart, can't proove me wrong)

Look at the first spike so fast in the game... Are U calling these monks bad? No, I watched the first spike (On the mesmer), 100% clean (AND he had a shield + DA up - Rigor ftw)

Sure, we can all go hide behind the 'they probably had a bad run'- excuse, no wait, that would be admitting I'm right... (Seeing an average rspike can so easily punish crappy play = my point)

I also realize you might as well post a picture of a good rspike. (Amandla, Cleo (Average) and Dod (average) getting owned by someone. (Non cap points/courtyard)

BUT, every "balanced" beating an rspike is a lucky balanced. Every Rspike beating a balanced is one too many...


Edit: Same story as before, but this time it didn't last as long, I'm starting to feel pity for them...

I know Legoway is a spike build. It's also the build that comes closest to actual pressure... (Not counting R/D way and hexway)

Actually, if you want to talk about pure pressure, when was the last time U say a R/D beat a rspike? R/D is insane pressure, yet they can't take Rspike down fast enough. (I once did saw a sway beat Rspike, their trappers got a lucky Smoke/Dust trap)

r/d can easily beat rspike mainly because the 3x r/d are unspikeable cause of escape and lit reflexes the thing is most r/d are total scrubs that dont realize the great advantage they have

the bottom line is the rspike you keep describing involves 8 players playing flawlessly which is impposible and if you did have 8 players playing flawlessly any build played by them would look overpowered . the fact is rspike is easily beaten by pressure but most ha players a . dont know how to pressure b. dont bring builds capable of dealing pressure
