We're currently running an heavy armored build with my guild. This works wonderfull for the 3 first maps (flawless against all Sway, although my mates are r2-3

), but we lack some utility for the next maps.

I was thinking about swapping a P for a R, for the interrupts and good ranger armor (we're running only 2 monks), and have a few questions :

* What would you take for interrupt + snare ?
- Magebane shot + pin down + read the wind (+distracting shot)
- Cripshot + savage shot + seeking arrows (+distracting)
I know cripple is week for relic run, but i don't see how we could bring ward or hex (no casters in the team)

* Debilitating shot is worth the slot ?
Our team relies on physical damage pressure, there would have only one debilitating shot.

* What attack skill for additionnal pressure ?
- marauder shot
- keen arrow (we have one gfte P)
- Forked arrow (got one prot, lot of enchantement hate in the meta and could be used with rtw)

* Song of concentration with interrupt ?
Can the R handle the two roles : using the song correctly and interrupt enemy's ghostly ?

anti-kd should be ok with "brace yourself" on a P. Song of concentration could be put on a P too. This ranger is here for snare and (altar) interrupt.

Use Apply Poison instead of the others. Maybe use some other prep on one of the Rangers.

Apply Poison spread out on a team is strong pressure.

just make sure the guy interupts thier song before casting his own. Your better off putting song on a paragon however, so its not obvious where your song is.

As for the elite, most ranger elites arent worth brining to HA in the current meta. Your better off with magebane.

And any snare is weak if it is the only one. Most teams go to great pains to have two people with snares, this lets them get away with poor body blocking skills.

We spread few conditions, so apply poison will feed the enemy rc.

Read the wind is ok, is allows to interrupt 1 sec cast spell even if you re not close to the target. Didn't try magebane before yesterday, I love it

Pin down is ok, but yes, we do need another snare, we will try crippling victory on a derv.

And we will move the song of concentration too, interrupting opposite song + interrupting ghost + using the song = too difficult for me :P.

Your not going to get both the song and the ghost on the same person. Dont even try to do that reliably

Kyp is right.

I have a boner for cripshot, but it's probably better to take magebane in HA. Though rangers in general have a tough time fitting in.

As for extra pressure on the ranger, I'd suggest Sloth Hunters Shot. Big domage.
