Rawr Cup Radio Show! Thoughts?
Ok, go ahead...how bad did I suck?
Seriously though, any feedback good or bad you could give would be welcomed. I'd like to continue this in the future for further Rawr Cups and hopefully a Post mAT show every month. Thanks in advance.

This isnt actually a question about the radio show but maybe you could ask izzy this for me. Is it possible for him to post the skill charts and stuff for the rawr cup, like he does for the mAT?
Also, who/where do we send the info in for our roster to recieve prizes.

I think it was a decent show, but then you had Izzy so that makes it a lot easier. If you don't know anything to say, you just go ask him some more questions. Plus him being able to follow more matches at the same time. Think the parts not related to the matches were actually the most interesting.
One thing you might consider next time is trying to start earlier. That way you can do the competitions during the matches, giving the people something entertaining to listen to while observing. Try to get people on as soon as they are knocked out, ask what went wrong, etc. Basically do most of the post-show during the tournament.

The show was OK, though as has been said, started a little late.
General opinion and ravings:
Stick with matches longer. In the beginning you were thrashing around a lot - Even a match where the winner is evident early on might contain a number of interesting points, including analysis of what the losing side could do better and what differences in build or build utilization could swing the match. Less breadth, more depth.
Inviting guests to talk. ThreePounds hardly managed to get a word in. Yes, she's the soft spoken type, but usually has good things to say.
Replace guests that are boring. Seven spears of whatchamacallit? Not so interesting.
Observing. When you call a match to obs you'll usually jump in ahead of the crowd. This means you might start obsing a couple of minutes in, whereas everyone hopping onto obs after you will be late to the party and get an entry point at the countdown to match start. This means your listeners cannot easily follow your comments. Avoid this by calling a match, wait a few seconds (30? Dunno how much lag the radio software induces) and then jump in. You'll get into the countdown with the rest of the crowd.
On the whole though, not a bad first attempt. I'll be following the coming shows provided they are on times that agree with my schedule
Edit: Oh, and if you could manage to record your shows and place them somewhere for download, that would be great - even if you miss it the first time, you can do a recap as long as the matches are on obs.

Joe Hostile, you did an awesome job! You make a good host. I would've called in to bug izzy about non-gvg hero battle questions, but I had to go to out for dinner, haha.
The main thing I noticed was you didn't really call the times for the matches when syncing. Mentioned to Pounds about it and she spoke up on the air, but no one really acknowledged her. So I wasn't sure if we were on the same time or not.

The really only good part was Will giving his awesome commentary. And izzy being wrong on defense, again.

would it be possible for those who listened to it to summarise any interesting comments made by Izzy during the radio show for people who didnt get the chance to listen? Specifically concerning his thoughts on balance.
would be really interesting!

From what I listened to Izzy agreed that Nomads is the worst map in the game and that they are going to be looking at NPC numbers shortly.

From a non gvger's perspective it was really really interesting, and it definitely made me want to get in and gvg too. The only thing I could comment on is that at times people seemed to not know what to say or do, kind of like it needed more structure? But other than that, it was terrific, and I really enjoyed it.
I only heard it last night, so I wasn't able to watch as the games were being discussed, but I certainly remember the final dR vs Rawr match...
I really hope you guys do continue it.... great work.
