Persistance of Memory
Recently i've been looking at different Mesmer skills for a GvG bar and i came across [skill]Persistence of Memory[/skill] and i was wondering why mesmers dont find room to fit this on thier bar with 10-11 FC this lasts 16 seconds with a recharge of 20 seconds, i know ench stripping would be a problem but for being able to recast the spell immediately after it getting interupted instead of it being disabled for 10 seconds (magebane, dshot) or its normal recharge which in shame's case can really hurt
also if you look at most ench removal in todays meta from what im seeing its only inspired/shatter off mesmers, one having a 25 seocond recharge, the other with 20 seconds
what do you think? personally i think this could take the place of mantra of resolve as far as anti-interupts go
also i doubt this will work but im going to test on hex-breakere'd targets to see if its "spell fail's" mechanic counts as an interupt(again, i doubt this)

The only thing that is really going to get interrupted is either diverision or shame. Diversion is 12 second recharge so its comming back pretty fast anyway. So its really not worth it.

i've found in maybe every other game someone on the opposing team(whether by camping me, or just getting lucky while tabbing through) also catches my e-surge several times throughout the course of the game
also, it would be a godsend against those teams with a w/me, p/me and a me/* with the mes interupts, cof off the para and pspike of the warr
but you may be right...a skill slot to protect diversion/shame probably isnt worth it when that could be another ench stripper/interupt

Assumption: Most mesmers are Me/Rt because they're forced to take a hard rez, so you're not going to see 10-11 fc
1) Waste of skill slot. What are you taking out?
2) Waste of 10 energy. You're already tight on energy, so spend it casting useful stuff.
3) A mesmer that camps you that often is bad anyway.

i would say mantra of concentration would be the best bet because it has no activation time it stops the interupt so would not have to recast the spell again and is only 5 energy. its 30 sec recharge tho

The instant recharge has little benefit, as you are already dealing with the enrgy burden of upkeeping PoM.

Plus even if it was feasible and mesmers did camp each other hard enough to make use of this, the mesmer would just inspire it off and use it for themself.
