Dont spam shock, just use it for snare/spike. Switch on prot. Try not to overextend too much. Punish enemy team on any position mistakes. Enjoy.

Posistion mistakes are harder to make in HA. Your not fighting at a flag stand, your not helping your runner push into the flag stand. And your not defending your path to the flag stand.
What that means? There is no chance for frontlines/backlines to exist in heroes ascent. Ever. Its not a problem of players, its the maps mostly. GvG maps arent as open as heroes ascent maps are. Look at underworld/fetid ground. Its one giant circle of an arena. Try to start playing in lines, and they will either push straight into you, or go around to get at your back.
Not to mention that in heroes ascent, monks have channeling, so 10x more energy to spend spamming small heals/prots. And also the ability to run midline defense/build hate comepletly destroys position play.
Warrior kills in HA comes from switching on prots to do pressure, and if you ever need to spike, faking the prot monk on spike.

On a standard shock axe I generally run:
Axe 12 + 1 + 1
str 12 + 1
rest in air
(unless you want to run an off hand for extra energy for shock)
Stonefist insignia
radiant everywhere else
Minor str
minor axe
sup vigor
clarity - blind reduction is cool
I end up with somewhere around 600 health and 27ish energy
On non-shock warriors I tend to run survivors insignia, but it really depends on the bar I am running. Same thing with Sent.
also run a blind reduction rune on the shield you use if there is a blind bot around.
IDk thats just some general information.

Were not talking about PvE here, i cant remember the last time i saw weakness in HA or GvG that wasnt caused by wearying strike.

Yup, Clarity is essential imho, but I've hardly ever encountered anyone spreading weakness in HA (unless you count hammer backliners, but that's not really all that common ^^)
If you'd rather use Sentinel's or Radiant is a matter of taste...personally I believe having 25 energy on a shockaxe is pretty useful, yet Sentinel's Armor can indirectly help reduce pressure on your healers...(not getting completely smacked by a single Lightning Orb can be helpful)

right...
cause blind bots and air eles in general dont use [skill]enervating charge[/skill]
and hammer warriors dont use [skill]devastating hammer[/skill] and even [skill]forceful blow[/skill]
oh and [skill]enfeeble[/skill] and [skill]enfeebling blood[/skill] dont cause weakness any longer? or perhaps all the necros just vanished from PvP

Blindbots don't use enervating charge.
Forceful Blow doesn't see any play.
Necros barely see play anymore except for b-spike or hexway.

Out of those skills, only two ever actually see decent play. I'll let you figure out which ones.

No, they don't.

Forceful Blow? I've never seen a Warrior run that anywhere.

What Necros? The ones in hex builds? They sure don't run those skills. There was a Necro build using Foul Feast with Enfeeble, but no one runs that any more...

You might want to use 6 WM with that, or 8 if you use a pvp sword.

Why would you ever bring [skill]enervating charge[/skill] over [skill]lightning orb[/skill] on a bsurge? BIG DOMMAGE >>>> weakness
[skill]devastating hammer[/skill] was used occasionally when people didn't feel like running 2 axe warriors but since mr magehunter smash buff came along mr dev hammer hasn't seen much play.
If your warrior has [skill]forceful blow[/skill] on his bar, it is unfortunate but he suffers from mental retardation
[skill]enfeeble[/skill] was used in one condition build that lasted about a week after they buffed plague signet and itself.
[skill]enfeebling blood[/skill] hasn't seen play since they nerfed [skill]oppressive gaze[/skill]

Radiant is nice when you have dp. You have a larger energy pool to use.
