Hey, i'm bored in college and had an idea for an 8 monk spike, or something along those lines.

[skill]Word of Censure[/skill]
possibly followed up with [skill]Castigation Signet[/skill] for e management

I mean smiteball worked with [skill]Signet of Judgment[/skill] which does the same damage

Any ideas on this?
Ill expand once i'm home at the weekend and also have gotten some feed back

"If your target was below 33% Health, Word of Censure takes 20 additional seconds to recharge."

Last 2 people to hit in the spike would have 22s recharge. Simply wouldn't work, SoJ is better.

yeah as the above post says if you want 8 people using the skill, the last 2-4 people would get a huge recharge, hindering further spikes. it's a pretty sucky elite tbh.

And of course. NO KD!! KD FTW!!!! Heh. Yea the recharge on WoC would get screwed up so no it really wouldn't work.

Let's just stick on topic:

The skills CLEARLY reads that it has an extra 20 sec recharge when used on targets below 33% HP. In other words, it clearly shows this ISN'T a spike build, and never will be.

At most, you might put it on a Monk bar in a rainbow spike. The monk will have to spike a bit before the rest, so if U add some human error you'll find that the spike is going to be given away by atleast 0.5 seconds. (Which is more than enough)

EVEN if it was non-elite, it would be a "hmmm" skill, which I would always highly doubt bringing in a build...

Just trying out something different, people just dont seem open minded and flame you if you sugegst a skill that isnt in the current meta... even if it is an extra 20 sec recharge, 2 secs longer than [skill]Signet of Judgment[/skill]

SoJ is AoE, a signet, no energy (Obviously - signet) AND a solid 20 recharge for everyone.

You can say that the average person in HA has 600 HP (10% Moral). 33% of 600 is 200. Now, assuming U run all Sups on your monks, you'dd ATLEAST (always) need to people hitting under 33% to finish him off. (Let's say 1 person does his at 201 HP, target will have 122 HP left, so still 2 more spikers)

With 2 Spikers down all the time, it is HIGHLY unlikely you'll find yourself having enough spike damage.
So, in other words, you WILL have to spike every 20 seconds...

On top of that, 10 Energy is ALOT for a monk (I can only see this build work in a 8 man spike)

It's not flaming, it's mere logic reasoning. The skill is NOT made for spiking, but rather for pressure. (Which is kinda dumb, because it's not like caster pressure is any decent -blood magic line anyone?-)

we ran this like 2 years ago...spike is fine with our build.

the reason this is shit is because you sac an elite for an average spike skill.
