HA is what you make of it.
Quit complaining it's 'dead'...and play it before GW2.

Ok, its not dead, people still play the arena.
But HA is an old man, helpless and senile.
I'm having trouble finding the will to log on and play GW recently, you know HA is crap when your friends expect you to gank to help them win, and then rage your guild when you dont. I'm probably going to just get r12 and quit.

I rly dunno but gw doesnt seem to be dead to me. The game is overflooded with pve farmers (funny thing is this game should shine at pvp), HA has 3 dists instead of 2 (at least something) and ppl are still gvging. Ofc everyone would appreciate more new content and deleting ritu, para, sin and derv classes but wake up devs are working on gw2.
0.0000001% of whinning gw population attends this forum I hope u realize it. And srsly... if u wanna do any good to HA remove all buttonmashing builds so pve farmers can get back to FoW. HA is low level pvp like TA. So no wonders devs are supporting only gvg atm.

HA atm has 3 international districts, instead of the 5 or 6 the arena was built for, on top of all the regional districts that were still around.
If you think HA is doing well then you must like skipping to halls, or trying to hold vs guys that play UW, skip, and gank you. Skipping is the only real problem with HA. Change the map mechanics all you want, if people skip to much it will still be a shitty arena
And no HA wasnt meant to be a high level arena, buts its faster paced and much more fun than the slow GvG matches. ATs in GvG take HOURS, HA matches last a couple minutes

man, if you ain't happy go play dominoes or something. I'm sick of seeing this constant pvp whining so here is some for you

You're shitting me right? PvE players have a selection (while small) of skills dedicated only for PvE. The obvious attention of ArenaNet is focused on PvE since there is a wider range of PvE'ers than PvP'ers. None of us PvP'ers give a fack that Four Leaf Clovers and Ales are dropping or that we can go farm our Slayer of All title...special events for PvP come once every 3 months or earlier while PvE has a friggen Dye Drop x5000 or Holiday Items Dropping event every weekend. Think before you speak.

I think your problem is your standards are too high, there are plenty of players out there who only have bambis. I don't think rank is relevant to a players skill anymore, what with all the easy to play farming builds people run now.

I play with bambis all the time, its called a guild. There is no rank req to get in my guild, its friends only. And it generally only takes a few runs for them to figure out how to play the bar, but man, they are epic failure on everything but killmaps, you have to explain every game nuance to them. Things like rubberbanding is hell for noobs who dont know the better ways of dealing with it, like mousing around.

rubberbands sucks because RELIC RUN!! thy gayest objective ever, the genius behind relic running designed AB I swear. and besides mousing around in a game and camera system like guild wars = fail. I really don't know how HA objectives past killmap is hard to understand, I mean your not killing anything it actually gets easier since even monks who can't prot worth a damn magically learn how to spell spirit bond when they get past the 3rd killmap.

That what the guy you quote said (CBA finding his post) and your right above me anyways:
For every 1 person that actually wants to "learn", "play for fun" and actually is somewhat good, there is 10 PvE-farmers who don't care about all the previous ones. They merely want their Tiger to show off...
Bottom line is, ENOUGH people have proven it IS in fact possible to still gain rank if you want to. You said that unranked people CAN'T join R6+ or R9+ groups, so what does that mean? That does in fact mean these groups are, on average, "better" than the player. (Otherwise he would just form himself)
Why give yourself the disadvantage of having a "noob" (Omg, I just said the N word) in the team?
When I joined HA, there already were some R6's (Iwaaaaaaaaaay), gues what: Poor Borat (My Alias) couldn't join... QQ...
2 days later Borat was calling his own unranked groups... 2 Weeks later Borat was calling his R6+ groups himself...

theres nothing you can do about the way people are. they want easy and quick. making unranked teams is harder than rolling a ranger and smashing 123456 and casting a spirit on recharge

ha isn't really dead but just slowed down tbh. i mean. just speakin from my experiences of ha ( r13 and got r11 twice due to friends who quit the game n leave their accounts 2 me^^) yeye ne ways the thing is that, the main reason of the slowed down ha is due to people mostly either quit the gw or move on to pve. some people just quit/move on to pve right after their r12 while others even quit/move on to pve earlier by right after gettin their r9. so basically, its just how ha is. those who reached their personal goal will move on while others will still linger in ha and do what ever they can to get fame(aka r/dway)

This crap about High ranked people not taking low ranked people is ridiculous. Grow some balls and make an unranked or r3+ group. Getting r3 now is easier than it ever has been.
