personally, i stand by the belief that rank means absolutely nothing, i know plenty of R6+ that got it through iway, sway, eoe bomb, crap that takes 0 skill whatsoever...our guilds core infuser isnt r2 yet and i wouldnt trade him for someone r12+

a players skill should be judged by how he plays, not what titles he's ground out...that sadly isnt the case anymore

On topic... yeah HA is pretty much dead but more in terms of player base. If you want, you can still run some form of balanced and win.

its the "who can bring the most healers" contest. You have a lot of 3 monk + 2 emo or 2 monks + 2 icy veins n/rt teams being run with A/D or D/A telespikers being run by guild teams and the like. Puggers are stuck with heroway that loses to tele spikes like its no ones business. So we are stuck with rock vs scissors matches, and it's quite obvious why most teams chose to play rock.

Yes thats all great but this has been said time and TIME again, ........ If you don't know the person there is NO WAY to know how good they are and people in HA do not want to spend that time to get to know, so all there is to show is rank. Deal with it.

Its been suggested that an achievement system that still promotes farming rank, but has penalties is the best way to deal with things. To bad for GW1 but maybe if thers an HA ish arena in GW2 there can be hope.

Rank discrimination isn't the problem here, I think. The problem is, and I know I'm repeating myself, PvE farmers that ABSOLUTELY want their Tiger, so they can show all their guildies how they "own" PvP... Yes, I know, they know AND even their mothers know it doesn't mean anything.

Honest: I wouldn't give a damn if "Rank" got removed alltogether... No, I'm not just a random noob who doesn't know what he's talking about... I'm R12, and I have ALOT of R10+ friends in HA aswell (most left tough), and I would gladly see my fame meter get reduced to 0.0000 if it would rid us from all these R/D PvE-farmers... (R/D because it's new C-space meta)

gvg is stale...and no one wants to change that, and the some that do probably can't see past their epeens to suggest something other then removing nightfalls and factions.

and as far as "if your not r9 stfu", well most players did the next best thing, they left.

Borat, no offense but you're quite a moron. You come onto the forums acting high and mighty and claiming that you made the 2 N/P B-Spike build. What you failed to realize is that there are b-spike scrubs on here like me who know you're nothing more than a wannabe who takes credit for things he did not do. /Fail

Secondly, you then proceed to brag about other builds that you've created and how they have benefited HA or have been for the worse. To top it off, you make one of the most contradicting statements I've heard in a long time by saying:
