Community Service... Fame for All (NO SWAY)
Ok, so everyone knows the grind from r0-r3 is like living through hell of repeating underworld over and over.
I hate to see people having to resort to sway, rit spike, or even back in the day IWAY.
I use to form many HA groups back in the day but I've long since given up leading as I quit HA and went back to went back what I usually do ... GvG...
Anyways, 4am I got really bored and had the urge to HA... considering it being 4am eastern I couldn't find any decent players ... so I started playing with unranked players...
They weren't as bad as I thought... sure my PD just unlocked PD and my Para ne very wielded a spear.... but that didn't stop me for owning SWAY....
I just hope other bored exp players will help out the noobs to steer them in the right direction... there is Huge wall blocking the avid interested pve players from reaching HA.... i hope to help bridge some of that gap and get some fresh faces into HA (that doesn't sway)...
I only hope others will follow my lead.

Also confused on what this thread is supposed to be.
If you're looking for starting HA pugs, I'd be game for that.
I'd need another 156 Fame for R3. IGN: Shayne Hawke.

thanks for the IGNs... i might be busy this weekend but will try to set up some unranked groups..... i have the builds... and i call tactics/spike... .... just need unranked players to help...
the reason i made this thread is to steer unranked people in the right direction and away from noob meta sway... and also in hopes that there will be more fresh players coming into HA... currently its the same guilds and teams over and over...

Hey, I got 99 fame and is hoping to make a big leap to a bambi :P The only reason I even play Sway is because no one would really play anything else. If I try to get up a different group, everyone leaves cuz they can't play it correctly and lose
Anyways, IGN is Alphabetic Alphabet, my XFire username is misterabc if you don't find me online. thanks for organizing.

There's another gap that people don't see much: R4-R6. People in those black holes have three options: get a guild (not an option for some), run the latest gimmick (some refuse to do FotM), or beg and plead R7+ balanced groups to take them on their best profession. Guess what my position is with 571 fame, alliance leader status, and an absolute refusal to touch Spiritway or Escapeway with a ten foot pole.
So how about the people blacklined out because of their feelings on gimmicks?

your in the boat i was in. Your only option is really to make your own groups, with people that are about your rank. Im sorry to say your going to be subject to a lot of fail for a few months before you start to see any real success.

I feel your pain. With all the people who sway'd their way to r3/4/5/6, it's getting to be quite rare to find a good PUG group. The only advice I can give you is to add anyone and everyone who's a decent player and a nice enough person to your friends list and then form groups with them. Then, if you haven't played with a person for a few weeks, you can just delete them to make room for somebody else.

The reason why the Meta is Sway/Escapeway or w.e Is because everyone is playing it and hasn't really found a way to counter both. The only way i'd actually play Sway is if i was asked to by one of my friends that need me. I don't volunteer for it. I am in Luck, It's an HA guild and on good days we avg. around 50 fame a day. So i believe the best way to actually get your next rank is to get a guild, With friends that are at the same playing level as you or slightly better, And HA with them. You'll get better with them, Learn to play with them, and create an environment that's fun to play in. Teamwork is created so that's my opinion. Hope it helped. So go out and get a good HA guild if your looking for the next rank (Btw, If you can't get an HA guild because the one your in now you love with all your heart, Then i'd suggest finding a friend to take you with their guild group, Or their groups. ^.^) Hope it helped and good luck & have fun everyone!

I do appreciate the PMs in game but on top of nearing final times this semester and guild obligations... i cannot help everyone T_T.... i hope others will maybe take an hour out of their day to play with some newbies to HA.
EDIT: I owe serenity divinity one... for helping me get grandmaster carto .... i'll help you next time i get chance..
EDIT2: Okay, so many of the balance builds require quite a lot of effort and experience to run which is why many newbie balances fail. Its not that they are bad builds its just that you can't run something that was made to be run by someone else. On that note I'll try and post some tested newb friendly builds on the forums for everyone to use. Particularly SFF (Sway Farming Builds )
