First, it may sound rude but, read the sticky. Your question is answered in that better than anyone person can explain.
Second, my answer is: one that can kill. Because that is a physicals job, to kill.
Sorry to sound so abrupt, but that is it in a nutshell.
*edit*
Thought this was in the warrior section so that is the sticky I am referring too. I don't think there is a sticky in this forum.

Chiizu Warrior Guide
A mixture of DPS, KD, and deep wound. But most importantly, be strong and brave.

DSlasher, Cripslasher, Shock Axe, Rending Axe, Shadow Axe, Linebacker, Dev Hammerdin, Backbreaker, etc are all good working builds...

Warriors are particularly dependent on their elite, which Zling makes pretty clear. I just wanted to mention that every warrior, everywhere, also needs a source of deep wound.
A sword warrior needs gash, and consequently, also needs a source of bleeding.
The great majority of axe warriors use Eviscerate, with specialty builds carrying dismember.
As a general rule, a hammer warrior with flail carries crushing blow, whereas a hammer with frenzy uses pulverizing smash. This balances one adrenal skill with one energy skill. Hammer warriors in a gvg will almost always have flail.

PvP Based Warriors
You want to build a warrior that is designed for a certain purpose and have a skill set to suit. For example I used a rather effective W/E(earth) build in random arenas. It was designed to do moderate damage (in a spike'ish sought of fashion) and pressure spell casters with knockdowns. The main skills were devastating blow[E] > aftershock > fierce blow (or the skill that does extra damage on weakened foes) > some adrenal skills. Build is a bit energy hungry but there are ways around it (adrenal skills, energy mods on weapons). Keep in mind when setting up your warrior not to try and do to many things > also try to get skills that "fit" together like mentioned above (bleeding skill + skill that deep wounds + does extra dmg to bleeding foes)
Hope this helps
