Its not just about knowing/using your profession well, its about knowing the map rotation, the best positions to be in, who you should be targeting your skills/spells, how to run relics, how to snare, how to bodyblock (sounds easy but people don't do it), wanding sway trappers (again sounds easy but people dont do it).

If people who play HA regularly don't do a lot of these things, how can you expect a group to take a full fledged beginner into the fray?

But you are right about the attitude problem... its pretty much rampent.

Mechanics that involve too much teaming w/ others and co-ordination among different people generally PHAIL for the mass. Hence, GW Organized PvP has failed to appeal the mass. Therefore, WOWfication of this game was done recently.

maybe HA should be changed to 1 map configured into a a large rectangular hall with a team on each end and whoever pushes 1-8 the fastest wins the round and you get to use a tiger emote for 15 mins.

What do you mean with: its about knowing the map rotation

There is no map rotation in HA. The order is fixed and the Hall of Heroes is completly random. You can have 3-4 capture point fights in a row and the other time you hold 10 times and don't see a single capture point map.

I wouldn't put this so harsh:P but you got the point. "Leet" pve players are the same as "leet" pvp players and both sides think other ones are leet jerks, noobs, morons etc,etc. Ffs you have to have rank in pve now if you want to pug.
Pvpers could make a thread about discrimanation cos they dont have high norn rank! You don't want low rank player in your hm fow, uw, doa run, well guess what they dont want low rank guy in HA, cos they want to win same as you..
I dont have rank ( well I have rank2

) but not becuse I couldnt find a group just becuse I dislike HA. You can always find a group , meet someone who will help you, get you in ranked group if you really want to. All fame i got I got from running with players ranked 10+, guys from alliance, ppl I met in game etc. And we never ( well they) never runned sway,iway or any bshiit like that. Sway is crap same as ursan but is easy way which most people prefer in life so ofc in game too. HA is not doom to failure cos sway or any other crap like that, but cos this game is dead.

i agree i started guild wars not so long ago got bored of PvE and went into PvP and loved it, once i got into Ha took me years too find a team and then when i did i only have proph and kick me or not ranked enough (i wish i started when there were only proph) i love HA but its to time consuming

If you just want like r3 then go run sway it took me like a week to get it and it was pretty easy, cant say i learned much in that time but got a few more options now at least.

For every player that leaves HA, a new player will replace him thinking that there will be easier fame (and items from the HoH chest) because of the lack of players. After all, if only 16 people ever played HA, they would be getting lots of zaishen keys and sigils. HA will never die.

u don;t need big brother. just spend some money on the PVP unlock kit and unlock all the skills man. you get like all the campaigns then. i just invested 29punds in unlocking all the skills in the game and it was truely worth it.... it opens up a huge number of builds that would have taken forever to unlock (12 months and only half skills unlocked!!!!)

team asks for a HC monk... ping plz. got it. ping weapons? got it. ez. if you want to play pvp. start there. then work on the next step... oh,,, and turn off all chat. LOL
