It has got nothing to do with e-peen.
It's actual peen. I seem to be the most rational person in GW at some times. (Look at Rspike thread)
Honestly, I hardly ever think in e-peen. My builds is ALL I love to take credit for, but that's more of a fact of showing that I'm, once again, more rational than other people.
I KNOW that I'm smarter than most people that post on guru (In rl), and I won't go: "Naah, You're smarter" -"Naaaaah, you are" - "Naaah you're the smartest"
From simple observations (HoH, GvG, HB) I have a general idea of more than 300 people that play GW daily. I know WHEN they play, with WHO they play and HOW they play. (Ye, f*ck right Big Brother is watching)
And there only is VERY FEW people that rank high -strategy wise- in my list of best callers. I've seen callers (I won't start giving out names) let other people run to their base, without engaging, or doing anything. I've seen callers do utterly random stuff, sometimes so redicilous, you really start to wonder HOW in the name of God they remember how to breathe.
Sure, we all make mistakes, and I cut everyone some slack. That doesn't mean that I don't know who makes alot of mistakes, and who barely makes mistakes. Offc. I don't have the reasoning these persons have, so I sometimes MIGHT miss something. (E.G. the warrior COULD in fact lured a fake prot, yet from more experience obs'ing him, I know it wasn't his intention, it was plain old C+space+shock)
Normal persons don't talk about themselves like this, leaders do...

To be fair, its hard to knock ritspike fame, when youre running with r-spike fame. Same skillset used, just in a different package.

I don't see the competitive side of being under rank 9. I admit to playing lameway and i played ViM back in the day, and every time we got even close to the halls, eg. the courtyard we would get slammed but then everybody would be ok with it because its a "fame farming build" "not meant for holding"
Its more complex than people think - Play randomway till r3, play lame builds up to r9
Its more like farm fame until you can get into a party that actually wants to get to and hold halls.. I mean isn't that what heroes ascent is all about?
I guess thats the reason that people liked IWAY, it was easy to run and it could hold halls (I'm not saying it was amazing at holding but compared to recent fame farming builds its a hell of a lot better). So it seems only balanced groups get to halls (obviously with some exceptions), and it's understandable why only R9 and guild groups run balanced - they take longer to put together, it's harder to pull off without proper communication etc.
I doubt anything will ever change about heroes ascent, it's been like this since the beginning. With of course the change from 8man to 6 man and then back again, so maybe it is time for 6v6

I don't know why U quote random numbers, but let me explain them anyways (Cuz U seem to fail to grasp the idea):
I'm 99% sure: IF there ever was a thread about nerfing ritspike, I'm sure I posted a constructive post in there, yet this doesn't mean I couldn't have missed the thread.
8: Some Pro-Player said ritspike had 8 healers:
-If you take 8 healers, you only have 1 skill free on every bar, thus taking away the option to put in Speed Buffs, Snares, utility in general...
5: 1 Vital, 1 Rt/P with "Make Haste!", "Fallback!" and SoC, 1 Warder/Prot.
This leaves you with 4-5 free bars (Depending you would go with the warder or the prot or both) Redo kindergarten imo, learn the basics of math before you try and spit out random calculations.
Also, I would love to see how U can win with a ritspike WITHOUT 3-2-1'ing. Please, by all means, PM me about it?
@Kyp: I would love to stay on-topic, problem is everything has been said... Read page one, and then you'll find all the valid information you'll need. From there on, it turns into a: Hate Borat and QQ don't nerf rspike QQ thread.
I'm not stopping any mod to close it, which is what happened to my thread.

Maybe we are forgetting sometimes that this game is also played by children.
I'm 25, a teacher, and one of the youngest of all the people I play with.
Even if I dislike some of the builds that "live" on the first maps of HA I realise that you have to give the children, who are allowed to play GW and Heroes Ascent, a chance.
You can't expect a bunch of 15/16 year olds to be organised on TS/Vent like most of us adults do. They also have limited time to play and parents-agro. You got to have some "button-smash build" that's easy to run for that group.
Most of the experienced/older players consider these builds they run free-fame and don't bother much about it. There would be even less players at some day-times in Heroes Ascent if they couldn't play.
There is no reason why these children should be excluded from playing HA if they bought a game that's rated 12+.
Just my thoughts...

I find sub r9 groups dont play balanced because they dont know how to run balanced, not because they arent able to play balanced. By time your at least r6, youve experience enough on the maps to play a balanced build, but you dont know things like
what needs to be communicated
when to play offensivly
when to play defensivly
when to punish hard resers
etc etc etc

But thats where having a guild or a dedicated PuG comes in handy. For a long time now, most PuGs can't even stay together for a few matches let alone develop any communication or coordination.

I remember my first HA guild. A group that fought together from mainly r3-9 and we had huge co-ordination problems. After a while this gets better and better. In PuGs you still have the problem that many think for themselves istead of listening to their leader. Some think they are better than the leader because they have more fame or maybe the PuG has no competent leader at all. Leaders will become visible after some time as they become the persons who everyone wants to play with.
Very important is that the leader tells where to go, what to do and afterwards you can discuss what went wrong. Same for a compenent backline, they tell the leader soon enough that they are running out of mana which means retreating to the open field. The longer you play together the more effective this gets.
It's all about practise and I've seen enough "dedicated low-ranks" that did it in the past.

thats complete bull. i'm 16. and i can organize pretty decent groups in ha and communicate extremely effectively with others. look at Il Tahlkora Il (kyle) and Il HOOT Il. They are both 14 and organise extremely developed groups all the time. in fact, me and hoot and a group of other people (brutalis, fu, vivec, etc.) held halls for about 2-3 hours last night.
but then again, when i add fu and brutalis it completely destroys my point, because then the group age range would be 14-30~. but still, hoot was leading and calling, so meh.

I'm sure that you, with age of 16, know perfectly well that there are always exceptions to the rules. But I'm afraid that most of your age have more problems finding descent groups.

Don't be so quick to lower the bar; adolescents tend to live up to expectations. If your expectations are low, so too will your results be. I spend my days teaching high school age special ed. kids, and ive found that the higher I set my expectations, the greater their accomplishments become. Don't sell kids short, they're capable of way more than you expect.

We have the same job. I never intended to "sell kids short". I was trying to say that they are more limited to get into (good) groups. Often it's not their fault.

I wasn't knocking you. I was just saying kids tend to perform better when you give them high goals. If you hold them up to the same standards you hold yourself to, you'll often find your equal.

Yes this is so true, I am 12 I will be 13 and become adult next year and when I do my mom says I can use vent and use AND LISTEN to swears on vent, I cant wait. I will win HoH so easily then you will cry. I can finally play balanced since I will be allowed to use vent and I can cry in my headset about all the lame builds out there that only kids can play. Then we can discuss how to further limit the HA builds to just 1 build and then we can all have fun, but then what will we cry about when we constantly lose?
I cant wait to become adult because I am going to marry Britney Spears and have 6 kids and me, Britney and my 6 kids will make a gild and we wont have to pug anymore either then because they will all be taught the game by me and we wiill win HoH all the time, and then maybe Britney will get some confidence and get her life back together and I will order you all pizza
