New PvP build - the Burst Warrior
[Burst Warrior;OQASEZKTSgGGFFGFFG/E/VCA]
It's probably been done before, but here's a build that is designed primarily for caster shutdown. By spamming 4 skills in quick succession, there's a chance that the bonus damage on one of theme will activate. Alternatively, by using the 3 interrupts when they're actually needed, you can keep monks locked down and wasting tons of energy. The build works because it punishes the best play in GW - kiting, and then stopping to cast spells.
Skills are recharged and your energy bar is filled every 8 seconds by Flourish. Due to the quick activating skills, there is no need for IAS, and so you can take Rush for a permanent speed increase. A single burst (using the 4 skills in succession) is enough to charge either Rush or Lion's Comfort.
The interrupts are so spammable, you can keep monks locked down almost as well as dazed can, whilst dealing bonus damage adds to the chaos. 2 of these could shut down a caster backline fairly easily, possibly allowing allied casters to finish them off.
The following Burst Combos are ones I've come up with whilst testing the build:
Quad Burst: Disarm>SS>DB>PS. Does upwards of 100 damage and interrupts 3 times if all conditions are met. Perfect if casters on the other team are clumped together (e.g at flag stand), as DB can interrupt adjacent foes.
Monk Killer: Disarm>DB <wait for next spell use) >SS>PS. Interrupts twice and then follows through with the damage combo. Wait for kite before using PS.
Sin Shutdown: Disarm> 2 interrupts after 3 seconds - Prevents skill usage for 3 seconds, then if any skills are recharged, these are interrupted. As 'sin kites, use PS.

use distracting strike instead of distracting blow, it actually does damage. this build is pretty bad though. pretty sure bulls strike is the biggest punishment you could ever recieve from kiting, and it isn't in your build.

I ran this build a while ago in RA, but since I'm not a pussy I ran it with frenzy.
The build is hilarious btw, you're sure to get flamed for running it.

This build won't do a ton of damage without real useful attack skills or an ias, as placebo said. I don't see the point of Disarm on a bar to take down a caster, as they shouldn't have any attack skills. Savage only adds damage if you interrupt, DB doesn't do any, and PS only adds some if they are moving (granted, a lot of casters kite). If you want to run both better shutdown and damage, I would just go with a hammer bar.
The chain takes 2 seconds at the very least to use, and Flourish is 8rc, so it wouldent work as well as daze, as well as not increasing the cast time of spells. Besides, most monks take a lot of skills like RoF and Patient Spirit, both 1/4 cast times, and guardian as well, which totally messes up your build.

offhand i'd say drop lions for [frenzy] as you don't really need a self heal in GvG (unless you intend to split). Dunno looks meh to me but hey i haven't tried it could be the next big build

You don't need an IAS - The skills all activate very fast.
It's more of a fun build than a serious one, but I get the feeling a top PvP guild will come along, take this idea, and get the kudos (even if the idea looks bad to start with).

Why don't you just use daze then? yor bonus damage is meh. With this, your attacks have a daze-like effect, but with dazes, everyone's attacks on the target are like that.
daze can be removed, but anti-melee can shut you down easy.
edit: why try to be an interupt warrior if you can do not meh damage and keep people from moving or casting? Hammers are beast for shutdown

No top PvP guild in their right mind will even consider running this, honestly. It's pretty much inferiour to other alternatives on every level.
shutdown ? a decent ranger or a hammer warrior will do the same, only better.
damage ? a shock/axe by far outclasses this build, and provides enough KD's to get kills aswell.
outside from the use as wacky build in RA, this bar realy has none
