This basically sums up the entire thread. I see no other options.

I don't like this statement. "People have been complaining about balance forever, it isn't any different now". Well yes it is different...the game didn't used to be broken. I honestly think Guild Wars is borderline unplayable now. 3 years ago it was minor complaints. Now it is mostly major complaints dealing with the entire structure of the game.

This doesn't make any sense to me. If they weren't going to make any major changes, then why did they go and make the MAJOR change of seperating PvP/PvE skills? You think they would now make major balance fixes to PvP since it has no PvE effect, but they haven't done anything. I have a feeling they will never do anything useful.
Sadly I bet any amount of money that this game will never be anything resembling balanced ever again.

Well, of course. From a business standpoint, not caring any more makes the most sense. Retaining players for 2 years without any new content or expansions is impossible, so the majority of people buying GW2 will be new players, and anet must know that.
Thus any effort they spend on gw1 is a waste of resources. The neglect we're seeing is just a small part of the Worst Idea Ever.

Let me know when entire classes can only beat certain classes based on RPS and I will say Guild Wars is worse than 99% of the other multiplayer online RPGs out there.
(yes, I am a bit angry with my Rogue beating everyone (he is uber scissors atm) except for hunters (which I also have one of) when they apply a short buff. That's the only time they can ever kill me, is one they have one specific skill activated, and it only lasts for a short time, and recharges in forever. It's so stupid.)
