I know there are many different ways to Beat SWAY. But I would like to throw a skill out there for people to think about if they are interested in making an old-school hex build for HA.

Scourge Sacrifice placed on the necro/rt's would be a huge pain to remove after their spirits have been killed off. Mend Body and Soul would really be their only heal that would be left after their spirits are gone and they can't use Spirit Light safely.

Just throwing this out there and see if anyone will bounce an idea back.

I still think that making Escape end on attacking iis probably better way to go.

I did that too a few months before people figured out scythes were broken and decided to mvoe from R/W to R/D.

there are lots of counters to Sway, they are just worthless in most other places.

ie.

-stance removal
-anti-spirit skills
-wards (since the nerf they arn't used)
-a combination of caster hate and melee hate to stop the expel from getting off and removing melee hexes
- or just screw caster-hate and bring some water and curses hexers. cast hexes, interupt trappers, ???????, profit.

your not really escaping if your mauling the guy instead of running away. It doesn't match the description. However it would need a buff, maybe increase the running time to a larger interval since it would end on attack.

mayb make sprint as long recharge as it lasts (look at Sprint, almost 24-7 on and not even elite) and end on attack.

Yea but sprints speed boost is only 25%, requires strength and energy (which makes Rush more ideal since adrenaline is easier to manage then energy) AND it doesn't have a blocking part to it. Thats why Escape is so deadly.

Escape really isn't the problem. Its the Rend Touch consta strip channeling & Guardian ftl.

If they would have escape to end on attack they wouldnt play it. thats for sure. Why else do u think they dont have a scythe elite attack (Reapers sweep/Wounding Strike)

Rending Touch will have non-gimmick uses available if Escape gets nerfed.
Escape will not have non-gimmick uses available if Rending Touch gets nerfed.

And if it weren't for Escape, sway would get flattened really, really fast.

No but srsly Thumpers also had an increase movement/attack instead of a hammer elite or something like that for a Reason.
Now escape got buffed they can get rid of the 2 extra skillslots for the pets, and a nice weapon with OP attacks.
