Honestly, more capture points?
I dunno why adding more boring maps will solve anything?
I dont care for the other maps but more Cap point maps will just destroy HA even more....
As said earlier in this thread, we need old maps back,
we need different HoH, HoH is the most important map, that map needs to be funny...
anyways, i dont believe in the new maps.....

Anet's trying to get rid of 321 kill builds in favor of more strategic, map oriented builds, like searing flames, ritspike, and sway. It's a good thing they thought all that through.[/sarcasm]

Its not like those maps will change anything really, except just more boring shit...
We want cap points removed and they put in more of those? ..
Quiet redicilous really.
Dont see how hard it can be to listen to the players, blah

I think this is fake. Information is only coming from two sources, Channeling Monk and Shard... oh wait, Channeling Monk = Shard. So only one source. I wouldn't mind being corrected though, since the idea of new pvp maps would be alright.

Still is in TA/RA which they conveniently ignored.
New HA maps would be neat, love to see it but doubt the chances unless A.net has a cheap/fast way of achieving it.

All you people saying its fake: lol get a clue. It is in the gw.dat files, and they are completed maps, with working textures, etc. There is no reason they wouldn't add them to the game at this point.

Learn to read, please. They were talking about developer updates. They pushed back the Hall of Monuments Dev update by a week, for the Skill Balance Dev Update that it explained since it was deemed a higher priority.
It is on Reginas talk page.
kkthnx.

ATTENTION: ALL OF THESE MAPS AND THE PICTURES OF THEM WERE OBTAINED FROM A RECENT GW.DAT FILE. THIS IS NOT A RUMOR, STOP POSTING "LOL RUMOR WITH BAD SOURCES"
I hope the retards who think everything's a rumor are the same retards who point out double posts. They'll see this.

Wow, grow up will you?!
All thats been presented so far is textures/pictures of possible new HA maps found in the gw.dat.
Some players might believe that is firm proof that new HA maps are coming.
Some players might be more skeptical and expect official confirmation before they believe that new HA maps are indeed coming out.
If you want to believe that they are coming, good for you, but you dont go calling people retards because they dont have the same beliefs as you.
Fact of the matter is, existence of textures in the GW.dat /= firm confirmation of those textures being featured in the game. Correct me if I am wrong, but didnt people find information about an auction house in the dat file... leading to rumours that Anet were adding auction house to GW?
The textures were subsequently removed, and we have yet to see the auction house in game. I think there are other examples of this happening too.
Congratulations on finding the pictures in the dat file, they are certainly interesting.
But excuse me for treating these rumours with a hint of skepticism... ''I'll believe it when Anet implement it or officially confirm it''.
Thank you for your finds though, and have fun calling everyone retards.
All thats left to do is...

The Auction House (Marketplace, it isn't an AH.) has been in the gw.dat for the longest time, and is continually being updated (even now), so yes, they are still working on it.
These, however, are new maps that mind you work (if you used a server emu, you could go to them if you knew their ids), and were just recently added just now and are finished.

This sits there in gw.dat among the other new maps, it doesn't resemble anything that ever was in the game. It's certainly an underworld location, unlike nightfallen tombs or even the old Tombs of Drascir, nope, it looks genuine.

and this made me laugh.
"It's continually being updated" - maan where do you get this info from?
Didn't they delete all data connected to that Xunlai Marketplace project like ~5-6 months ago?
And who would work on it, they're all (except maybe Linsey) busy with GW2...

Yawgmoth, that's actually Ruins of the Tombs of the Primeval Kings, sans the NPCs and the vortex. Matches the area perfectly.

Nope, wrong.
This picture doesn't match any area in game or historical area not anymore in game in anything besides using the same frontide wall of Tombs. That's nowhere near 'perfectly'.
Go visit the current Tombs in game and see every single thing is different there - the desert, the sky, the ruined walls of tombs (yes it's the same building but ruined, the only 'common' element in those 2 places), sand, rocks, tentacles, different ambience lighting... It's a different place.
The closest thing it could resemble is the old Tombs of Drascir from E3'2004 early beta event - a location very similar to the old Tombs of Primeval Kings before nightmare infestation, located in north Ascalon, the same tombs building, different surroundings (Ascalon wasteland style instead of Crystal Desert) but it's still very different, otherworldly.
Now look carefully at my screenshot - it's clearly a location in the Underworld - evefrything looks like in the PvE UW or the Underworld style HA maps - the sky, far mountain, nearby rocks and structures. It's certainly not anywhere in the world of Tyria, it has to be somewhere in the Underworld.
