I'm not saying sway NEEDS a nerf, I haven't lost to sway in about a month..... just presenting an alternative for people to think and talk about.

the only reason sway should get a nerf (if at all) is to mix up the play, though seeing as pugs have to result to playing this shit build that only beats other shit players playing the same shit build, I really don't think there are any alternatives.

I loved sway, and Iway..the game needs more builds that take 10 mins to set up and play. Also builds that dont require vent or TS are great because you never have to fight with elitist @holes.
If i can join a group in under 10 min and play, thats fun.
If i have to spend 30-45 min to get a team together, and have some idiot tell me im doing something wrong..that isnt fun.
So Vent = off
and gimic build FTW

I have used vent in pretty much every HA game i have gone into and it's probably 1 in 50 teams that you will meet a so called 'asshole'. There's a very easy solution to this. You either outwit them, proving them wrong or you leave the group.

I agree with this. HA is a PuG arena, and back in the day when this game was at it's peak it was still possible to do this with any build you wanted to play. Sadly, as the games player base begins to diminish, it is inevitable that it will take longer to form teams.

If you really don't have the patience for this then just join teams that are 6/8 or 7/8 members.

I am unsure on how someone pointing out YOUR own mistakes makes that person an idiot. Being told stuff like this is part of learning. If you aren't able to take flak, accept people's advice and learn from it then this is not the game for you.

Although I will probably never play Sway cause I don't think it's a "real" build. I have to agree with all those points. There are not many casual team builds, so Sway helps a lot of people get a game. It's funny when you see r9 Sway teams forming in party search.

Me: R10+ Sway, all time low in HA
Him: I like to call it Ranger presssure

I laughed, the first R10 groups start popping up. Now it's just waiting for the first R12 sway groups. I already now 4 people who got R12 of sway, heroway and Searing Flames. (Most of them played Expell or N/Rt)

I actualy know him, borat, and if you do so aswell then you should know that he got his r12 by CALLING, not just ritspikes, basicaly Everything. Please go find a r12 swayer (maybe you??) and let him call for a (rit)spike, and let borat go as r/d in a sway, that's a nice way to see who turns out to be better.

I think we can point most of the blame for the fail of HoH at the removal of favor. Other than playing for fun, the only other reason to play now is for the fame. What's the point of winning halls? You see your name broadcasted across the universe and you get a Zaishen Key and most likely a flame or a crappy gold. There is no point in winning halls. There is no real value in the halls win anymore. 99% of the player base couldn't give a darn about who wins halls because now all they have to do is throw a platinum at a statue and their in.

The prestige and comradery you felt with your country or continent when they won halls is gone. When you took the favor for your country every single person in there was whooping and yelling in delight, because they could go farm UW. Now with scrolls and weeks of favor time there's no point. They might as well remove the message. The only reason it's there is for the Nostalgia. Nerf sway or whatever, but until they bring back the meaning of playing and winning HoH, even good players will play sway and hero way and any 123123123123123123-way you can think of for the fame.
