You might have that impression. I really don't know if that is true. We lost to all kind of builds. Be it R/D, Hexway, Balanced, Sering Flame-spike or Rt-spike, EoE-bomb or Blood spike. I really can't tell you what we lost against most. Most important thing was that we knew ourselves why we lose and most of the time it was not because of the enemies build.

Team Voyager is a large guild (45 members) and most of those who "rocked" the HoH in the "old" days aren't playing anymore. Cleo keeps the guild alive.

I actually find shutdowning the rit much more effective than shutdowning the caller, as it brings their damage down by a lot (no brutal, no cracked armor, therefore no deep wound) to 700-800 dmg which is much easier to handle, at a +10/pierce shield that will barely kill the target. Plus, no vital and no snares will help your offense a lot against the 3 monks.
So a domination mesmer that will focus on interrupting whatever the rit does while CoFing glass arrows (the scrubs mostly all do it at the same time when their shitty caller tells them to) and giving some shames and diversions to the monks, will hinder rspike a lot.

You need a pretty active build in order to beat a rit spike. And intelligent players. Standing out in the open and standing still isn't intelligent. Leaving up favorable.... not intelligent. Sway isn't active enough.
