So can we expect a real update come next Thursday? Two and a half months later this is all we get? We are still pretty much riding on a stale broken state of the game that was put into motion since April....
Overall it looks like this small teaser is headed in a decent direction, hope to see many more skills hit though. However I'm dreading the constant trend of having things buffed to an extreme to force a meta only a select few wish.

Good question, any answer yet confirmed?

People need to stop crying. There's a massive update coming up shortly, they just didn't want to do anything overly drastic right before the Guru Tourney.

Thats because no one really uses that one. Besides, removing the hex before any damage is done ends the spike.

That's a miserable skill to use for tele spiking. Decent for a tele bulls every 45 seconds, nothing more.
Firstly it's a 45 second recharge which is pretty lulz for a spike, and once it's over/removed you tele back.

Noone is going to use Shadow Fang on a decent Warrior bar with regular skills.
10 energy is really too much.

And the mantra change as well.
I don't know if it is enough to stop 5 healer builds from winning the mAT, but at least it shows Mitch is pulling the right strings lol

So, according to you, anything that wins mAT should be nerfed?

how did you get that from what he said at all.
rawr wins by using stuff that will win them games, even if it is imba. The stuff he mentioned was imba or bugged.
yay

It turns out that these Chant/Shout changes are only effectual in GvG. The translated version didn't include this info but it does now.

Its me, or I am noticing some kind of Rollback to 2005? I mean, shadowsteps out, Dervish getting nerfed step by step ( Slow steps, but well...), Shouts and Chants not affecting NPCs...
I think Anet listens to forums and acts in the shadows

Can you fit it on the old AoM derv you think?
Throw a shatterstone on top of that, and you have a half decent cover.

Sure, but you'd only be able to use it every 45 seconds so you have to ask yourself if it's really worth it.
Problem with Shatterstone is that it's easily shutdown and a PBlock Mesmer would stop the Elementalist pretty easily. (Or even just an interupt on Shatterstone kind of ruins the spike.)
And I am not sure which "old AoM derv" build you actually mean or which teambuild you mean either. (I am assuming the "be team spike" build with dual Sloth Hunters Shot Rangers?)
I wouldn't bother using Shadow Fang personally due to it being a hex and the extremely long recharge but if people really need a Shadowstep to win in this game I guess they have no choice.

More like the awful stuff that needs to be nerfed has been winning mATs.

No, but I do feel like 5 healer defensive spike builds should be nerfed.
Besides, Enfeebling Blood, Anthems affecting NPCs, and mantra were all broken or overpowered.

dervs still = imba if they just nerf them 1/2 as much as the paragon has been nerfed it would be ok but this wasn't even close
