You might be right, but the errors did certainly help your case. But don't go around pointing fingers when you have no logical explanation. We had a fc water and an HEV beat an esurge and an RC. If they were smart and good, they would have beaten us in that 2v2. Period.

All the good teams I faced didn't have a single error (except rawr), I feel cheated out of a silver cape. If only I was as lucky as Deadly Scorpions! Drat, I could be rolling in the RPs!

Someone else got SHAT on by anet too, nice.. We loaded on 1 single game in the whole tourney, and I think we had a fair chance to top8. Well as said before Anet really doesn't care about their pvp playerbase anymore.

And it didn't occur to him to press the red STOP button right after the first match? Oh wait, he wasn't online until the elims wasn't he.
Not saying he should be on 24/7 because he's got a life too, but that just shows that the one and only person placed by ANet to take care of GW1 is Izzy.
There is no "but most top guilds got into elims" and "you would have lost anyway" bullshit: this mAT was COMPLETELY messed up at the qualification rounds. There would have been different and more fair matchups (random guilds getting 4/0/0, lol) and guilds like CSI or Shat would've put up some competition instead of terribad scrubs such as vE getting silver.
P.S. Before someone (Mitch) accuses me of being partial because I had my account sitting in CSI until yesterday: I didn't even play ONCE with them since they stopped byobing a month ago.

Ya because there's totally this magical red stop button.
They can't just stop the tournaments dude.

If they can't, they're still to blame for bad programming. Which wouldn't surprise me seeing as they don't even have a global announcement channel which they can use to say "I'm sorry".

They can't stop the tournaments automatically because there's no real need to. Even now if they do it they'd have to do something to all the other systems connected to the AT system, which none of them built for. As much as it pisses me off too, you can't expect them to honestly just screw up everything because natural stuff upsets their datacenters. It happens all the time. It sucks. Should they have a way to stop it? Yeah probably. But eh. There's other ATs and mATs. Then they'd have to roll back (and they can't roll back selective parts, they can only roll back the entire thing) which they won't do because it affects PvErs way too much (complete loss of character progress), etc.
