Win more and the line will move in your faction's favor. Details beyond that are anybody's guess.

Hey that link might help me understand that as well Kryshnysh, thanks for posting it. I am not sure what makes the faction line move either, and it doesn't seem to move far at all.

If you look at the talk page (discussion tab), there are some hypotheses (that I don't necessarily see how they came up with) as to more details, but not much there.

Sorry but I read both links and still didnt find an answer. Here's a clearer way to put it: what exactly do the Kurzicks have to do push the battle from Saltspray to Etnaran?

Essentially, from everything that I can tell, the battle lines are redrawn every 3 hours. The same time that the system checks to see what alliances control what cities, the battle lines are redrawn.

This occurs at:

12:00 GMT
3:00 GMT
6:00 GMT
9:00 GMT

From what I can tell, the only thing that influences the battle lines either way is wins and losses in Alliance Battles. Whether it is purely wins and losses or a composite of the scores I can't tell.

That's a) almost exactly the same question, and b) still very very vague. You have no clue about the mechanics, and thus can't clear it up, but those links definitely answer that question to a limited extent.

What you are wanting I think is specific mechanics. For instance: Do Kurzicks have to win the majority of the battles, or do they have to have a sum total score higher than the Luxons? Perhaps the Kurzicks have to win greater than 55% of the battles to push the lines from Saltspray to Etnaran.

As far as I have found, anything beyond what is found in those links is purely speculation. In other words, nobody has a clue.

It might even be that it's how much faction is turned in from players to their guild (rather than getting jade or amber). Who knows?

I have always believed its how much faction each side has for example if Kurzicks overall has....10.000.000.000 faction and luxons have ...10 then it will move into the luxon advantage maps such as ethren and Kanyon. This always made sense to me seeing as it always seems to be on luxon maps ever since HFFF was created for the kurzicks. Its just a idea that makes some sense ive never been told better.

Of course it could be down to the wins in AB..... but Ethren keys luxons have 50% advantage ....so wont they win most of the time? and wont the 2 deep maps be like.... very rare? I personally say no more advantages and its all equal sizzle. Maybe even one big colossal map that be fun

Would anyone else agree with me when i say that it always appears to be on luxon maps now? As far as im concerned thats a good thing more challanging/more faction.
