The only time my guild has got points really playing 'balanced' was during the last double weekend vs. a lot of awful randomways and at off hours when the dual dom groups are not around so much. Given we only have a few experienced players, none of which are amazing at the game, but there's little incentive for less experienced players to learn balanced when you're going to be crushed by gimmicks night after night for a long time before even having a chance.

Played the packhunter in dual dom and it's boring as shit, dunno how anyone can tolerate it for more than 5 minutes.

Played axe thumper and that's funny for about about one night.

FF nec is really boring but sadly necessary with so much SoM and packhunters that can poison & bleed the entire party bar in 5-6 seconds.

Playing TA at its current state is a pure massochism. There are absolutely no builds which require skill or offer some kind of enjoyment left.
An oldschool balanced template (w,r,n,mo) has turned into something very dull which basically every retard can play effectively.
Anet totally destroyed TA and the reasoning behind it (being used by many ppl here on guru) is retarded beyond all belief. If u wanna balance this game for gvg only (which is now even more dead than HA and full of funny so-called top guilds) why don't u completely delete other modes? Why did u implement them into the game? That doesn't make any sense.

I believe the remains of decent players quit long time ago when HC was introduced. All these balanced wannabe FF/magebane/patient spirit spammers are just joke.

I was defending this game long enough for anet to get things fixed. Now even if I had time I would'nt play this shit anymore. Ppl shouldn't rly let 12 years old kids playing thumpers frustrate the hell out of them.
And guild wars 2? fck off dear anet. Too bad I can't get my money back for a product destroyed by its own creator.

Wounding needs to go.

10 E, 7 recharge or so, reverse condition order. This just have to get killed no comment.

SoM needs to die also. Blinding is not meant to be keeping some 1 blind for 24/7, it's basically a tool for stopping spikes and it should be a reward for skillful play. Like bungusmaximus said earlier

Agree with Moko on the WoD nerf, I love to see prot returning.

I think [skill]backbreaker[/skill] COULD use a nerf, just change it to under 5 hammer mastery 50% chance of failure, just like earth shaker.

Hmm.... SoM should die, WoD should die, every ench removal except CE needs nerf, CE is fine since it is an elite but no normal removal should be 10 seconds. Soul Bind needs to apply damage after heal, I hate being lockd to death by having 50 life and soul bind on me, anet once again fails to implement proper mechanics here. Smiters boon needs a 30 sec recharge, removing that ench should be promoted as skill ful play and not some idiot monk jst reapplying after removal, RaO is jst no comment, i guess it can stay, its just the other skills promoting it that cause it to be effective. D-Lunge is just lol infact just remove the disable clause, u cnt have some luck skill change the tide of an entire match there just no logic behind that, and last I would enjoy a shield bash nerf to balanced v balanced but I guess that skill is a neccessity vs all these stupid gimmicks. FF-sending is another story and on the long run is needed because even if u ditch SoM, people have realized that weakness is a nice cheap melee hindering skill and is easy to apply often, once blind goes the gimicks will turn to the enfeebling lineup and with no ff ud run out quick trying to keep a fronltine clean. However if SoM dies ff can be reduced in power. Plague sending is a bit too strong but is nice in a smart necros hands, can be used to avoid d-shots by canceling but I guess its too cheap to fake a ranger for 1 energy and also needs a change to 5 energy and perhaps no saccing. The rest tbh is fine.

It seems like all issues behind imba skills lie in conditions. Conditions are just too spammable and a single character can nearly maintain up to 7 degen on an entire team (imo IMBA). Were these originally intended to require skill to apply? (skills causing conditions have huge/significant cost energy/adren etc preventing condition spamming) If the the condition spamming was truely intended then most professions need a rework to cope with all of the BS atm.

yeah it's quite bad atm.

something i'd like to point out, too;

make apply poison a freaking bow preparation only!

it's quite decent on R/D (double cover for deepwound on wounding / easy cover on pious), on R/P (no comment, with bleeding and poison for basically no cost).

if we compare barbed arrows - poison arrow to the R/P template .. that's just mad. also connected to the barbed spear buff but ye..lulz.

FIX

by the way, Backbreaker isn't really a good deal. it's an interesting template, not too overpowered, and it's not like any noob can use it at least.

i agree about d lunge being way too good considering it takes 0 skill to use.
remove the 20-sec-disable feature...not like its on pair with d shot -.-

kinda torn about backbreaker. i'm just pissed they nerfed steelfang (the kd combo) and didn't touch backbreaker. i agree its not toooo imba and does take some semblance of skill to use (its just a one time thing though, not like practice makes you better at it. learn to esc/strafe weapon swap and boom you're pro), but at the same time its over feel is pretty degenerate.

I agree completley.

Problem is though dervs get a huge buff then since the entire class revolves around cycling enchants, you'd probably see a return of those awful derv healers. There needs to be a curses enchant removal that specifically punishes derv enchants or recharges faster when removing derv enchants....not monk enchants.

At 10 adrenalin i really dont think the skill when being used on a war bar is broken. Coupled w/ kd conditional atck skills is where it becomes abusive, maybe. I know its a problem in hb but honestly its really laughably bad else where. Although very fun The Steelfang bar was like the most fun you can have in gw and supa pro in most formats unlike the a/w. Up

^ The pet gets KD'ed though I think both owner and pet should be KD'ed

[Plague Sending] is alright by itself. The only thing wrong with it is that it is in Curses so I propose it to be moved to Blood Magic instead and 50% cast fail with 3 Blood Magic or less.

[Signet of Midnight] is rarely used pre-Nightfall.

[Magehunter Smash] and [Decapitate] needs a serious buff.

[magehunters smash] is fine. [decapitate] though needs a buff maybe lose the energy loss maybe the adren loss or something.
