This is a terrible idea. I won't even go into detailing why it's terrible since there's this thing called the search function. and this topic has been covered ad nauseum. Also, it just adds another post count to the crying about "rank discrimination."
As to a wishlist, I do agree with Borat that ranger spike needs to be toned down a little bit, though it seems like he's proposing that it be outright nuked out of existance.
Additionally, it would be interesting if there was a cap put in place of no more than 3 of any one profession.

The fact that EVERY person in this thread defending rspike is an rspiker, compare their character names, geile elri, etc... simply says enough...
I KNEW ritspike was OP, and I was the first one to sign up for the massive nerf Ritspike thread. The problem is these rspikers don't want their only fame farming build to be nerfed, because for most of them, that's ALL they CAN run... (Rspike prolly is the oldest unnurfed build, that in fact only recieved buffs, apart from savage + punishing nerf)
Scythes are alright, like I said, I am yet to loose to sway with a non-fun build. (I lost like 2-3 times to sway with W/P way)
And for all I care, they CAN leave the build untouched... I would LIKE to see a difference meta tough...
ALso, my QQ'ing isn't about the fame I don't get, I'm R12 halfway to R13, it's about the FUN I don't get...
Facing an Rspike on every map to HoH, to then face 2 rspike in HoH simply isn't fun. Yes, it happened yesterday... (It was a consecutive of 8 rspikes I think)

Increase balthazar faction in all pvp, to attract some people that are pve atm to pvp, or at least make them try it for once , they play for zaishen keys in the beginning and for fun if all goes well in the ending

i like the idea of RHA (Random HA). the winning group after 10 rounds get;s to play against THA (Team HA) groups. Similar to RA and TA.
You know... loook at the state of the game. TA is dead with a few really good teams playing well. RA is alive and kicking. After 10 wins in RA you get to go to TA and usually these teams either drop out or keep going really well....
sooo.... revive HA with RHA. I think you would find a LOT more people will play. just look at RA. it would ROCK.

No one is defending anything here, since there is no need too. "This is just a WISHLIST, NOTHING SERIOUS... " (by Killed U Man). People post here for the laugh of it and one would assume that you should know that best, considering your proposed 'changes'. I had several good laughs already, don't spoil it by 'closing' another thread of yours

No, I mean like, I yell at them to spread out so I know who to prot while facing rspike, if theres 2 people standing next to eachother, I would get confused and would probably prot the wrong ally, but thats okay, because the infuser I play with (veritas) is not terrible at the dead game.

Random HA simply won't work. What about Song? Aura of stability which every team needs?
There will be more gimmicks, because when it's like Random Arena's, you're better off running a R/D than a Warrior, as R/D will fit in more builds...
You're better off running a N/Rt because it will also fit in more builds...
I'm just saying, at random arena's gimmicks = everything. HA is also ruled by gimmicks, but I still manage to get to HoH with original builds every now and then. When RHA, even just a part, it will simply be more button bash than before...

im not quite sure where this thread started but now it looks like lots of QQing about rspike. the most prominent archetype uses forked arrows, which a lot of teams can deal with by just hexing them. and its not that hard to do this with an adjacent hex, heck ive stopped rspikes with unsteady ground lol. aegis would also be a nice counter but people treat that skill like the plague after its "nerf".
what the real problem with rspike is, IMO, the difficulty of properly protting it. ritspike was extemely easy to prot (AR is a different story though :/), SF wasnt too hard because they had to be burning first... Legoway was just following the derv. so i think its come down to monks having an easy time catching spikes compared to rspike.

Ward vs melee working on arrows and spears would be nice, but then theres the problem of it not working due to rigor or guidance anthem, or not even getting off in the first place due to interrupts.
Dark Aura having slightly more range, possibly less damage if the range is increased more.
Slightly increased range on Lively Was Naomei.
Escape with higher duration, 10 energy, ends on attack.
Xinrae's weapon to 15 energy, 20 recharge, lasts 6...12, disables attack skills.
Dulled weapon is changed to an enemy targeted weapon spell, but the aoe part is removed, or lowered to adjacent.
Well of silence removing any shouts, chants, or echoes already on whoever is in it or walks into it.

i would say wounding strike needs a nerfbat, at least make it 10 energy, i think that will be fair. (Maybe a slightly longer recharge also)

- Old HA back, like last milisecond hold.
- GW2 kick ass, i really want that game to be good.
