neways no seriously, best tombz infuser = full crystal steel, best tombz prot = freda (if he's not completely stoned or drunk...which tends to be 24/7 these days)

The ones you names are pretty much correct. (Star did ALOT of Monking for his fame, and he still is a VERY good prot Monk)

Guild wars needs to make itself more fun to play, even screw around tombs is just people playing super defensive crap and 3 2 1ing. Ex:

Water Mesmer camps Warriors with blurred/glyph+steam/shackles/shard
Dom Mesmer sits on Fire ele
Ranger sits on other Ranger to interrupt preps and pin down wars
Full earth ele with unsteady and eruption
Fire ele snares with foes/grasping or spams make haste on recharge
Rit with warding spams warding on 1 monk at all times regardless of damage taken and poops life/recup + pots + spikes on 1

There are no good HA monks unless they GvG (maybe TA, but its tends to be alot of monkstomp) and only HA part-time.

I believe euphoric joined casual love when bill was grabbing random high-ranked HA people to temorarily boost activity until there were more gvg'ers, they were absolutely terrible however and he kicked them all, euphoric included. It was a long time ago however, my memory might be a bit foggy.

This is the HA section so lets break it down:
A good monk = ?
A good monk = keeping people alive
Keeping people alive in competitive PvP (gvg) = pre-protting and team coordination

The word "Clusterf*ck" ceases to be adequate for HA, you cant pre-prot a clusterf*ck.

Coordination in HA? You do 3 things. 1. Spike (hey I can count down from 3!) 2. kill the other team 3. cap altars/run relics etc. this may have been Anet's attempt at team-play in HA, however it turns out into a f*cked up confusing zergrush every 95% of the time, generally if you try to coordinate the opposing teams lack of coordination causes chaos on your team as well.

So via that since HA =/= pre-protting and HA =/= coordination that:

HA =/= Good Monks

Perhaps the topic should be "who are the least awful HA monks?"

And even after all this, winning HA meta is and will probably always be (unless a massive reformat) a 8v8 slugfest, the only chance a team has to not fall apart is to bring a billion monks or against a spike team/balanced if you have a good spike-catch. Im honestly surprised people dont stop bringing monks altogether (for farming the first few maps, at least)

FLYING APPLE MONKEY--even though he got banned for being retarded best reflexes ever against rspike and could heal party spam like it was 5 e

CUBAN-aka chaotic favor-decent prot(jkjk i luv u cuban even though u nvr got me chaos gloves)

KRZY KATHERIN -gr8 player to play with overall and nice prot

JAMES - has gr8 sense of the battle can rlly preprot nicely also a backseat caller

BARBED ME -crazy canadian prots ehhh???fun guy to play with aswell know him since like the beginning of this game

ASHARA STARLIGHT - imo best infuser in the game great sense of battle good reflexes blahblahblah great guy to play with aswell

SCION OF HARMONY - aka avra prob no1's heard of him but best bambi infuser ever

CHAOS OF DWAYNAS - brandon got rllly rlly good at preprotting rspike ill give him props for it although has uglyest monk ever...jk

these are recent ppl...mentioning oldschool ppl is meh...but yeah thats my opinion

Played with a Rank2 monk today that caught a lot of spikes with Infuse and was a lot better than some ranked monks I've seen.
