I want to get in to the pvp portion GW, after completing prophecies. What campaign should I purchase next?

It is pretty hard to get into PvP without every campaign. I'd probably fork out the extra cash money and get at least Factions and Nightfall if you're looking to become a PvP'er.

For PvE you have two choices *I know you said for PvP but I'm covering the whole thing*:
1. Storyline choice: Get Factions, some of Nightfall won't make sense without Factions and
2. Usefullness: Get Nightfall, it has some of the better skills and has heroes.

For PvP, you only have skills and heroes to look at, so you will want Nightfall because, again, it has some of the better skills and it has heroes for HB and extra spots in HA and whatnot.

But Factions is also wanted for PvP skills.

In short, get Factions or Nightfall, depending on what you want, just do NOT get EN.

Since your PvP, I'd go with Nightfall>Factions>Eye of the North

If/when you pick up Factions, you also get access to Alliance Battles, big 12 vs 12 PvP matches that influences the PvE map, by shifting the border between the Kurzick and Luxon territories.
If/when you pick up Nightfall, you also get access to Hero Battles, special "one-on-one" matches pitting one human (and his three heroes) against another human (and his three heroes.)

So either way, you'll get new options in your PvP play, beyond just all the new skills and professions in each campaign.

Mujaki has a point.

AB may not be anyform of elite PvP, gogo disorganisied mass confusion, but it is a decent team orriented intro into PvP. For the basics atleast.

Nightfall though has many many overpowered popular skills the PvP kids enjoy.

Tough choice my friend.

if you just want to pvp, buy the pvp access pack through the online store. that will give you pvp access to every skill/item/upgrade in the game.

NF brought us the most OP elites in the game. With Prophecies and NF, you can probably run 90% of the builds around, and the ones you can't run, you can probably find a easy "somewhat-the-same" skill within the Proph or NF skill list.

Offcorse, it's a must to have ALL campaigns in the higher forms of PvP, whever build becomes more important than anywhere else in the game...

Too bad warhammer is just like WoW. Today is a rly bad day to start pvp in gw since it's completely dead and being good at the dead game is worth nothing.
Imo wait for GW2 or learn to play counter strike or starcraft. Too bad GW is the only rpg game with great pvp potential around.

Nightfall for certain. You want to eventually get all, but nightfall has the most used elites for PvP. If you want to start HA, you'll need [Rampage as [email protected]] as your unranked.

nah war is not like wow at all. its defenatly not like gw's but its going to have the most active PvP areas of any MMO on launch day (and every day after that for atleast 12 months ).

if you hate pve and love pvp, you can lvl up just by playing RvR, and instanced PvP (baisicaly AB but bettererer), you dont have to do a single pve quest to get to the max lvl, its so damn good. but a hint if you do join, go order, all the kids and the nab nab wow players go destruction cuz day lyk 2 l00k kewl wth there big spikez and massiv choppaz
