Default Ventrilo Bombers In Ha
Sometimes if I´m playing ha i get ´bombed´on ventrilo i thought this only happened on public vents but they(more bombers connect at the same time) go on private vents as well they use names as pikestar - seby - merlin-Shadow -Game is On i saw them on several vents sometimes they just play some really loud hardcore and stuff and sometime they just make ur whole server crash if u ban them they just reconnect think they change ip or something it's rly annoying. Any1 who can help me or had the same problems or know who this/these guy/s is/are ?

Btw changin password wont help because they dont always connect but just make ur server crash

He said passwords don't work. Probably DDoS-attacks then.
If it are the same people all time, they probably are aiming directly for you.
I don't know how it's done in Vent, but TS has some fairly good countermeasures. So check your server configs if you can find something about autobanning.

Mute them. Or if not, end your subscription, get a brand new one with a new vent IP, and reset your router to reset your own IP.

U don't rly get the problem Berek i payed enough for my own vent lol u cant just change ip and it has nothing to do with my own router lol and mute system sux if they logon under another account the mute is gone

talk to who ever u get your vent off and make them change the ip or pass or w/e other than that, make all channels passworded and they will just give up.

but there is a diffrence between vent bombin and ddosing. find out what it is 1st.

The person bombing the vents is someone who goes by the name Pikestar Warned U in the game, funnily enough, this person is able to hack into servers protected by passwords, reset vents so that everyone gets kicked, and no matter how many times you ban him he will keep coming back. But what's worse is that he actually admited that it was him in game and when i tried to report him the operation failed. I could report anyone else, but not him, and his account was online and he was in my party in ID1. This retard goes around using our names but who would be so stupid to use his own name to vent bomb?

Honestly, it's not hard. Ban him, or just Right-Click>ServerAdmin>User Editor>Guests> Mute Globbaly At Login [check it] and gg.

Seriously, I have a 50 man server, never had a problem and I don't even do that. Keep TTS turned off, it's retarded anyway and thats the only thing that lags out the server. Or, change the pass by going Server Admin>Rcon>type "password <new pass>"

Honestly, you must have done something to really piss that guy off. In 2 years of Vent use-age, I have never once been in a private server that has been bombed. Stop flaming people in-game and such.

Refrain from allowing PUG players onto your vent server perhaps? Pretty sure Noxify has you covered on this one. GL.

Also, local chat 'FREE VENT' still makes me lol.
