Wanting to get into HA
I've played every other form of pvp on this game. But i've never really gotten into HA. (Mainly because i do not yet have a hero rank and can't get into a decent team when im not with my guild)
I play Ritualist and assassin most, though from what i gather these classes are not often used and if they are, there's only one or two builds which are even worth looking at.
Monking is NOT for me and i am not a warrior fan either. So what im asking is, what would be a good starting place for HA, a good way to learn how it works better. (send me a wiki link and i'll scream, ive already looked through wiki and the handful of dccent builds on there are not hte help im looking for)
I've played mesmers, dervish, rangers and necromancers on the side and am okay using them, although more comfortable with the above.
In short, i'm after perhaps good builds to start getting into it, Ritualist or assassin builds which work would be good as im more then familar with those classes. Or an explanation of the basic idea. Just any tips are appreciated

Hi... from experience, the best bet for a new HA player is to find an HA guild and go with them on runs. Slowly build up rank and most importantly experience. HA is a very different beast to the other forms of PvP in Guild Wars in that it has a succession of maps that require different conditions to win (destroy other team, run relic, etc). Unlike say, AB which is cap cap cap or mob mob mob lol, or GvG which is all about the management of momentum.
For PUGs, try the dreaded RANDOMWAY, or perhaps one of the easier to run gimmick builds of the moment. Just be very honest and upfront about your rank and your experience in running the said build.
With all said, study study study. Learn from the top players and guilds that frequent the HA. Memorize the maps and the different mechanics of each. Obs mode is your friend. ^_______^
