Well at least the touchers are getting it right to make a team of them. Rather than just be less than annoying alone.

Ench removal is very rare in AB unless, of course, you're running an organized group. Then there's Stance removal, which seems all but unheard of.

AB being chock full of noob physicals, block Stances pwn. The rest mainly being easy-to-gank Fire Eles doesn't help either.

Wars won't run [[Wild Blow]. Most Dervs worth a damn go /E for a Conjure. Few fellow Sins even consider [[Wild Strike] when devising their newest quasi-instagib chain, being put off by the rather unimpressive (yet in their eyes quite mandatory) [[Golden Fox Strike]. [[Wild Throw] doesn't nearly see enough action to even be worth mentioning (cwutIdidthar).

Wild strike is pretty common... idk whatcha talking about. Problem with it is that Wild Strike chain normally does not have enough KD/shutdown, so toucher can just outheal it.
Wild Blow? Yeah... it blows, thats all there is to it. And Wild Throw isn't much better, which was brough up in this thread: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10309952

Yeah, touchers own low level PvP, because there are no good counters... well ya, other than snare, but snare works on any melee, not only touchers, while mes/necro shutdown and conditions don't do squat to touchers.

So it happen that toucher always been considered noob build, and as such only been played by people who can't do any better with real build. As such touchers always used to be solo/nubmobille kind of build. Thus whole argument that touchers are easy to counter with organized team. This of course assumes that touchers are disorganized, yet nothing really prevents them from being organized. So as players matured (gameplay wise), they realized that 2 touchers are better than one.
As a result we have toucher teams.

I ran into another toucher team today, with a guildy team that gotten me. (My guild sucks because its an afternoon active guild and I work all day)
They were smart, they made sure they stayed back from the toucher team allowing me to get below the crevasse. So the R/Mo can't crip shot me. We ended up beating them because I kept my team alive, we lost one but that was my fault because, I hit wrong key, twice.
However we lost anyways, the toucher team was staying at the ranger shrine at keys and the other teams where trying to beat them instead of going around and capping. A couple people got the massage, but 6 other people didn't. One Luxon team just stayed behind us and capped, we tried to take them out by running to them but at monk shrine they had the advantage. Especially that the other Luxon team came at monk shrine. When we rezed, they had 6 shrines and still 6 people trying to take the touchers out. It was stupid because they were going at them as soon as they rezed. So they had a momentum of running at them one by one. It was 200 to 450 when we started capping other shrines and going around them. Still didn't help. I asked a guy. "Why were you not capping?"
"I wanted to take those noobs out."
"You failed for half a match."
"It sucks to be killed by noobs."

I asked the guildy team that I was playing in. "Can I join your guild?"
"Sure, are you rank 2 glads or r6 hero?"
"No"
"Sorry, you can't"

So I asked the toucher team."
"Can I join your guild."
"Sure."
"You don't play touchers a lot do you?"
"Sometimes, we mainly just play with guildies. A standered team."
"Are you active?"
"Always, there is always someone on."
"So am I in?"
"Yep."
Problem solved, BYE BYE PUGS!!!!! Should have done that a long time ago, sure my guild wasn't happy, but I wasn't happy with my guild.

Sounds like the problem is more with your team than the touchers, dont PUG in AB as a monk.
seriously, dont. people don't kite, people overextend when they dont need to (surely you noticed that in EVERY match theres the occasional sin or warrior that will chase someone for miles ignoring everything in their way), people dont even bother stepping out of a SH, and i've yet to see a warrior or sin allowing me to cast prot spirit before they rush with their uber 500hp to the ele shrine to eat some orbs.
Don't get me wrong, this is all very understandable since AB draws a lot of PVE'ers who dont get to learn all the above, but it makes monking hard.
Either monk for guildies\friends, or play an offensive class for PUG's.
As already mentioned snares are an awesome counter for touchers so if you hate touchers as much as i do you'll also enjoy playing a cripshot ranger and unleash some toucher hate as much as i do, so thats my recommendation.

No. You are only devoting three slots to your damage and extra energy management: [[offering of blood], [[vampiric touch], [[vampiric bite]. 3/8 slots for your damage, and at the same time your self heal. A few slots for a speed boost and a defensive stance as an addition: [[zojun's haste], [[dodge] and so on. 5/8 skill slots.

After that, you can do what you like. The fact that D-Shot is an amazing skill and you can just as easily run a recurve with a +5E mod for camping, and for casting OoB a set which can decrease recharge and you've used up 6/8 of your skill slots.

It is the same reason I use Bull's Strike on melees other than Warrior aswell. It is extremely powerful, but in the case of cluttered weaponsets when it comes to casters I wouldn't seriously consider D-Shot, but I'd consider a defensive stance or something. Bull's Strike and D-Shot come in my bars if I have the free space and it's ideal.

I do fool about in AB with stupid skill combinations, but sometimes they actually have meaning and efficiency more than what you'd usually take.
