OMG and I thought I couldnt do worse than last month! :'(
I blame baby, Me, Noob and dR for everything (lol) at least Team and spNV made it to the last 16 before blowing up. Oh and KMD losing to be 6th and so no points for a 1st place prediction. At lease StS gave me 3 points on most of my accounts and some from mKay too.
Got to keep fingers crossed for HB now......(hysterical laugh).

I'm pretty sure it was the pregame huddle break that won it for StS, magnificent execution.

I got 75 rp's (1 points off 100) with proper predictions:
KMD
StS
Mkay
Me
Glad
DM
SpNv
Shat.
Not sure im a big fan of the new tiebreaker, seems quite easy to exploit, but I guess its an improvement on the old VoD. I persnally prefered it when only the GL walked at 20, that would stop all the mad base rushing tactics when it gets close to 28.
GZ StS though.

That's the only match I watched from this mAT and I thought it was interesting example of the new game mechanics and a great match. From about ~14:00 onwards mkay pushed hard, boosted like four times and put StS's backline into heavy dp but StS didn't totally collapse with ensuing heavy NPC loses. But then right at the end, mkay only split their dom mes and flagger to StS's base (?), which were repelled by StS's ranger and NPC's while the rest of StS's team kamikaze'd into mkay's lord and won under the tiebreaker circumstances.
I think StS won that one fair and square with superior end game strategy, even if it was just a last chance gamble. Either way it was an all around exciting match to watch.

Both teams knew how the new tiebreaker worked. One team used it to their advantage, other team didn't. Nothing to do with the tiebreaker being bad (which I agree it is), but with one guild playing better.

Good updates come after testing, and if they notice it isn't fully fixed they will steadily improve the system further.
Honestly, all those band wagon 'elite players', it's annoying the crap out of me.

err nothing rly, just bad daily condition plus not playing concentrated thus bad is fatal in single elim.
btw just because everyone said we would make gold doesnt mean auto win, but yea ofc we were pissed, but shit happens. There is always a next mat

My point is that team which gets dominated by the other one for most of the most of the time should lose. The had more DP, we had boosts, they got wiped and we even managed to dmg their lord a bit... we did all of that through the game. Of course we did 2 mistakes which costed us this game, our warriors (snared) failed to block the bridge and let through "suicide gank" and I splitted with our flagger forgetting that zed is being base rezzed. Anyways in my opinion that mistakes doesn't mean shit because... what is it about?! We failed to rush? Wtf? Dominated team rushes and dmgs lord after 26th and wins? Guild wars is not about last minute rush. Gvg lasts 28min, not 2. And tiebreaker should depend on whole game so we can rly make sure better team wins. If GL at least came out of base we'd win lol. Of course I can't say sts haven't deserved gold, they should get it a long time ago imo. But this month belonged to mkay and this stupid rush mechanics owned us... gg!
Why not make average of team status a tiebreaker?

You were only guild we were afraid of, if there would be different tiebraker mechanics imo you were only guild which could stop us (even though you have mitch who is baaaeeeed!!!1111oneoneone)

Something needs to be done about it, or as Lore Keeper noted why can't we all just play the 2 minute gank in the isle of the nameless...

I don't think there's any doubt you guys dominated StS from 13-14:00 onwards, after their flagger died and the team was a hair away from wiping. It really sucks that you lost on a last minute turn like that after playing so well for 27 minutes, but from an observer perspective this mAT was so much more fun to watch. The previous format was really boring when everyone broke out their maxi-gay VoD strategies.
Hopefully a suitable fix is implemented in the next update without more random skill buffs.

Rawr are a bit of a joke without VoD.
The tiebreaker isnt perfect but its a whole lot better than VoD was.

Best Idea I've heard all year.
