2) L2 put ideas together in an order that makes sense
3) Restating the same point 5 times in different ways doesnt make it 5x as valid, or 5 different points.
4) Any post not agreeing with you isnt a direct flame.

and finally on topic

5) While most of us agree that rangerspike is a bit over the top, no single part of it is imbalanced, its the combination of utility-skills and the proffesions they belong to that allow rspike to take 3 times as much utility and defense than any other team that is the issue, not a skill imbalance, which is why you wont see the build get nerfed

Sometimes I believe that Borat just wants to be known as the guy who said rspike is overpowered...

The concept has been around for 3 frickin years; it's just a way of GW life now.

Just give up, man. You're getting nowhere complaining about it.

PvE and PvP

Assassin

Hidden Caltrops: reduced hex duration to 1..10 seconds; reduced Crippled duration to 1..15 seconds.
Elementalist

Immolate: increased damage to 20..75.
Meteor: reduced casting time to 2 seconds.
Mesmer

Lyssa's Aura: increased Energy regeneration to 0..5.
Ranger

Burning Arrow: increased Burning duration to 1..7 seconds.
Incendiary Arrows: increased recharge to 5 seconds.
Melandru's Shot: reduced recharge to 8 seconds.
Warrior

Backbreaker: functionality changed to: "Deals +1..20 damage. Causes knock-down (2..4 seconds)."
PvP Changes

Warrior

"For Great Justice!": reduced duration to 8 seconds.
Open Travel: Territory and District UI Changes

This is the final update to language districts.
In this update, restrictions to Japanese language districts will be removed and players of all language districts will be able to travel back and forth without restrictions.
Bug Fixes

Fixed a sound issue which may be affecting some specific on-board audio chipsets.
Fixed a bug that caused some high-end weapons to be created without an inscription slot if they had the Deathbane property.
Fixed a bug in the Nightfall quest "Last of the Breed" that could cause Mirza Veldrunner to take more Giant Tusks from the player than the quest required.
Fixed a bug that could cause Unyielding Aura to fail to resurrect a dead ally in range if other dead allies were out of range.
Fixed a bug that caused Muddy Terrain to occasionally not affect Dark Escape.
Fixed a bug that allowed a group to register for a Guild-versus-Guild Automated Tournament without an officer from the group leader's guild.
Fixed a bug that could occasionally cause the Spear of Archemorous to duplicate itself.
Fixed a bug that caused Stout-Hearted to not display the damage it deals.
Fixed a bug that could cause players to have two elite skills while riding a Junundu Wurm.
Fixed a bug that caused the /zaishen and /rank emotes to not play if the user was running, but still set their cooldown timer.
Fixed a bug in the Underworld quest "The Four Horsemen" that sometimes caused horsemen's deaths to not be counted for quest completion.
Fixed a bug that caused Heroes to occasionally start casting and canceling skills repeatedly when their target was moving away from their position.
Fixed a bug that sometimes caused Leah Stone to disappear before reaching her final resting place.

...indirectly buff rspike? I fail to see your reason just by looking at the update. please explain.

You could say anything that increases the direct offensive power of bow rangers and does not increase the ability to deal with a ranger-heavy team is an indirect buff to R-spike. That's essentially how it got where it is, a bunch of smaller buffs that allowed it to jam more spike on to fewer bars, and later to fewer skill slots and on to more flexible bars.

Melandru's Shot is just the kind of thing that's right up r-spike's alley.

We obviously gave Izzy clear instructions to nerf the mblast build completely because rawr was wrecking too much havoc with their proactive splitting in a VoD farm meta.

But atm, it's the reverse situation : ranger is the most powerfull char in PvP : good armor, good spikes damage, easily spreadable conditions (hi, -10 degen !), stances, snares, interrupts, speeds boosts....
And if they lack of something, the second profession is here : hex breaker, mending touch, song, grasping earth, rend enchantment.
Prenerf Shields Up was the only shout totally balanced against rspike, it gives a good protection for 1/3 spikes : for recall, a good or mediocre rspike can spike all 5/10 sec, (forked recast 5, dual recast 10) : you can't infuse all of them because infuse is 10 energy and requires a self heal after (=15 energy/40, if the monk aren't on his shield set).
The speed of rspike reminds me old bspike with QZ : even with slow spikes, you can't infuse all of them, it adds a form of energy-pressure on the infuser (i don't even speak of case of freshly-rezed infuser with only 8/9 energy)
Since his nerf, Shields Up is totally crap. Only passive defense relies on perma weapon of warding on infuser, and even with this one, Para/N still have a Rigor Mortis.

i agree on the ranger being best profession anywho maybe teams should bring BIP (blood is power) just a suggestion dont flame cuz its 33% sac lol

Could someone shoot me a message when there's a skill balance relevant to HA. I quit playing quite a few months ago after growing tired of waiting for a skill balance. I planned to come back after it happened, but it still has not. I'm finally worn out on PVE and have lost the will to log in/check updates. So, if someone could message me when the long awaited skill balance/map and objective changes for HA occur, I would appreciate it. TY in advance.
