Lowering only the Crit ability of the Dervish is only asking for the Dervish to become completely unplayed and the A/D to be the meta derv. Because you can take away the auto crit, but 14/15 in Crit strikes + Critical Eye + Way of the Master is the same thing.

Scythes overpowered? orly?
Yes, scythes do too much damage. Yes, they need to be changed. No, they will not be changed. No, we will never be able to go back in time to prophecies or factions. Life sucks. Remember, all that's important is GW2 in 2009! |

And even if we did apply scruffy's idea, imbatars would have to be seriously nerfed, dervs would lose 1 skill slot, and more importantly, their elite slot. I agree with sigils, we'd see the return of scythesins or the total loss of dervs in pvp.

Derv's are really only seen in HA as far as I can tell. In TA arena they are put as support characters (D/P), in RA... well it's RA who cares, and I've seen some derv's here and there in GvG but oddly they have been runners (D/N).
The only time I see scythe wielding characters anymore are off characters i.e. ranger, sin, or warrior. pink |

As someone said... Scythes are not overpowered. Overpowered are rangers or sins that has them, and uses their primary atribute to deal big wtfdomage with a scythe. Solution? Maybe add Mysticism to req of scytes? (Example: Scythe of wtf big damage req 9 scythe mastery 5 misticism.)
