Oh and you forgot the "they are in the same alliance" ^.^ (yay for conspiracy theories..lol)
Anyway... can any of the experts tell me what the tiebreak was for the 3 guilds on 12.294 (from memory)... does it go down to smaller fractions than are shown or some other tie breaking event?
Thanks for the answer Torsen (and grats on the gold cape -isnt it like 18ct gold now?)

If the tiebreaker's are identical, ladder rank determines who advances. (see 2 months ago [sup])

lol at all the rp pve posters title says "where people don't discuss how many rps they got last month" and i would think divine would mean in general.
On a postive note gratz to rawr final, and KMD getting to semis :P

Its also a prediction thread, so it should really have stopped once rawr won.

Yeah, you are absolutely right. Then again, it deprives participating guilds in the last 17th and possibly 18th having an opportunity to get a shot at getting gold cape. I believe this perhaps could be an infraction of the Tournament Rules, which states,
"Players/guilds are expected to not participate in any form of ladder manipulation. Ladder Manipulation is defined as any actions taken to alter the rankings or ratings of the tournament ladder that deviate from guilds actually playing and completing battles. Throwing matches or getting your opponent’s to throw them to you are examples of ladder manipulation because ratings and rankings are changed without actual game play taking place."
Maybe someone can clarify?

I don't see how registering and forfeiting the first mAT game in anyway deprives someone of a chance to reach single eliminations.

All it can do is change the amount of swiss rounds being played, which in this case it didn't do.

What has the world come to if KMD is congratulated for making it to the semi's... WTF man, they pick themselves! KMD was on #1 again for my preds 'cause I thought they looked really strong during the month playing on gg, but alas, they didn't play with the wtfpwnzormoi build at all during the mAT, at least Mitch didn't play it And yes, gz rawr

Forfeiting games and throwing them aren't really the same thing. A forfeit is an automated system within Automated Tournaments whereas throwing a match involves taking part in a game with the intention of deliberately losing/drawing. Forfeiting the first round can only ever benefit a guild (because they get a free win) and because the pairings are random there is no way of setting it up so that you face a guild you know will forfeit. Thus no manipulation.
Either way you're pretty RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing stupid and the "dumb pvers" argument is looking RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing strong right now.

What? Are you sure it was registering and forfeiting the first game? Are we on the same wavelength? Take a look at the last 16 guilds in the elimination round if you please.

We played it 4 out of 9 matches, and a similar build in another match
We didn't think this build would fare that well vs rawr though especially considering the map we played them on, so we pretty much took a shot in the dark.
Anyway, thanks for the vote of confidence, and sorry to disappoint

Should of convinced them to do a conga line draw with you and then at 27 minutes you snare them up and go put 1 damage on their lord winning the match. That is how to beat rawr imo.

I'm very happy with the top 8, alot of strong teams on there. Got 5/8 picks (missed wipe, vibe, and sup). I expecting a silver from gear, but definately not a top 8 win (or a top2). Very well done you guys, will be watching you in the future.
Unfortunately, i had to reformat my computer as of late..i hope the matches will still be on obs once i get all my drivers working again

I just have to say, that this month's tourney was TOO much fun.
Gear's showing was as pretty as a rock in a cops face, especially after they way they were dogged in this thread by some real assholes - 'some scrub guild' LOL. It made my day, it really did. Thanks, guys.

Your post was in response to ego talking about whether they play on KMD or gg. So I assumed you were talking about the same thing, unless you aren't sure what a quote is used for.
