Solution to RA syncing by community - no QQ
Do it the evil way: when you enter RA, cancel at three/two seconds and reenter. Tell everyone you know to do the same.
It probably won't have a big effect, but it's bound to piss off some synced people.
P.S. can someone change thread title to "Solution to RA syncing by community"?

euro districts all go in together anyway. as do the american districts. asian districts dont. So unless you can convince EVERYONE to play in the 3 different asian districts your plan will fail.
aint going to happen, besides get over it already

Along with banning syncing, we should also ban being bad. I hate going in and being on a bad team for one round.

Imagine the amount of rage unleashed ingame when the players from korean districts are forced to play with the utterly retarded people in american/euro districts.
Just keep the wammos in american district, most have already found their way to international dis, some even found korean.

this would be the easiest solution, and fits the spirit of RA really well. There'd be some QQ about it though because a lot of people like to sync instead of doing TA, or just want their random pool to be from a smaller, more controlled group of players.

Bah, I started this thread with the intention of posting solutions that a community by itself can do (meaning no Anet "magic" make all dists pool in).
And apparently "no QQ" means flame, off-topic and QQ all welcome. Sorry for posting such a meaningless thread, I'm gonna go now.

Nothing wrong with it, it's called Team Arenas.

gl & hf !
To your original solution: it won't work because you usually don't stand in a sync dis and doing it in euro or ad's will still match you with the same wammo's.

And get rid of glad points from RA, or at least reduce the number to 1 point for 10 wins.

So then TA becomes like HA, and only the high ranks can get glad points and then have whole new wave of people QQ'ing about it here.
no thanks. Leave it the way it is.

High rank glads only play with other high rank glads, how would stopping people getting a high glad rank encourage play?

Most people are suggesting just making TA look more attractive to glad point-farming syncers, not taking away all the points from RA.
What I think would work best would be to just make 5 wins in TA start you off with 3 glad points. That's how many an RA team gets from their first 5 wins in TA (after they get through RA) anyway, so I feel that's fair. Of course, I'd probably still do mostly RA, but that's because, while I do enjoy working towards my glad title as a goal, I doubt any increased efficiency in TA glad-point farming would be worth having to deal with the shitty TA meta any more than I already have to. Maybe a balance update taking out some of the crap like turret rangers could go a long way towards fixing that issue too.

Who cares about syncing in RA anyway? It's not like RA is serious PvP or like there's anything at stake..
If you lose to people that synced just go back in and try again, stop crying already, jeez.

If you feel that playing HA is a catch-22 about high rank, you really do not understand how HA actually works. The groups that actually work and win in HA are not pugged and have no care about rank, they are formed from guild and friend lists. Same would be applied to TA (actually right now most teams that particularly do well there are already formed in such a mannder).
