Unless you have one of those axes that dropped from the desert/shiverpeaks chests right after the game came out. They regen exhaustion quicker, but they're hard to find these days.

Yea, I was thinking about having a high energy wand set and maybe a set with an axe and a focus item. I already have a macro mapped to my Mouse 4 button that switches between a casting and a low shield set for Mesmer/Monk. It shouldn't be too hard to make a macro that rotates between weaponsets. Shock works nicely despite the exhaustion; but it isn't as spammable, doesn't use as much energy and is touch range (and Gale requires 5 air). I do know that Gale did work well on Warriors and it would be nice to have it back.
I'm still working on a macro that will Bull's, quarterknock Shock and then interrupt with Dchop so I can play after a few drinks.

Dragon slash build for AB got 72 dps, maxed out at 91... equivalent eviscerate build got about 50 but the spike is better. Weirdly the FGD pve version (dragon slash every single hit) only got 77.
Do gvgers have trouble with eviscerate/exc rolling low and only spiking for 100 damage instead of the 250 you hope for ?

I think he is confusing it with the old exhaustion bug where you could swap to a -5 energy axe and immediately regain 5 exhaustion.
If such a thing did exist it would be the most valuable item in the game, also if anyone in the top tier got their hands on one, there would be a backlash.

Agreed.
I think the Pyroclastic and Chaos axes deal significantly more damage, than say, a puny Runic Axe.
God, when will people learn?
