Why do people claim that a skill is broken just because it's good ?
Personally I didn't like WE, and I'm sad about the PR nerf. Also I specced a KMD match where Ego ran WE axe instead of dev hammer and he died a bunch and they lost. The opposing team (eight lambs to the slaughter) had a PR war who seemed to be doing a lot of damage despite the nerf...
Also frenzy battlerage = turbocharged frenzyrush (battlerage = rush with 33% ims and x2 adren)
Tried it once, liked it, may try it again.

Short answer: no. I never thought people would consider BR over WE or PR (even in its current form).
Side note: better have faith in your Bull's, that last clause can be punishing

Well, as WE you have to hit your bull's too or at least most of them. PR is a wasted elite skill since I'll linebackspike you to death :P
People always complain about getting linebacked, but you'd rather run Primal Rage than Battle Rage. Dead Warriors don't need any elites.

If an elite makes all other elite options for that profession pale in comparison, it's broken. That's exactly what Primal Rage did (and it's what Lingering Curse still does)

That match had very little to do with warrior bars, and everything with us having a pretty much worthless defensive midliner (BSurge vs FF necro..)

At the expense of Eviscerate, I don't see anything wrong wit Battle Rage but I don't think it's that great tbh.

WE doesn't punish you for fluking Bull's like Battle Rage does - not by a long shot. Why are you bringing PR into this again, btw?

Well, you actually mentioned PR, that people would use it over battle rage. Which brings us to your last quote. I wouldn't bring PR because I'd die on it, because I couldn't be bothered to cancel a 15s recharge skill!
And of course WE doesn't punish you for a missed Bull's but you actually have to hit them to kill.

On that note, what is with all the [Battle Rage] on observer now?

BR tis a good iway skill, many strong warriors use it in tombs

[primal rage] needed the nerf. Was the nerf too powerful? No, it was actually the right dose of medicine. What is the point of having a Warrior cancel out his Train-skill if he's just going to put it back up? Once he is done getting spiked/pressured for 2-3 seconds, he is just going to go back to Train-mode. The long recharge limits the Warrior's un-kiteable offense and promotes smarter decision making.
[warriors endurance] is another problem skill that needs the same attention as [primal rage]. Being able to deal +80 damage every 4 seconds is just insane. This is why it needed to be a stance in the first place; so it wouldn't be used with an IMS/IAS stance in order to produce more energy-powered attacks. Warrior's shouldn't be allowed to use energy attacks freely; there are circumstances to that and it shouldn't take an overpowered skill to prove it. IMO, the proper way to nerf this skill is to simply revert it.

IMO, a RaO (ranger/warrior) with an Axe, is a lot better than PR warriors. You don't take double damage, you have +30 armor versus elemental, you can use pet skills, pet gives additional damage/annoyance/confusion, plus adding a target (when enemy use TAB to select targets), etc.
My main character is a warrior, but I don't feel even 25% as good as I enjoy/feel a Axe RaO (both PvP and PvE). So, I don't really care what ArenaNet do with Primal Rage.

Good for you, just because there is a more brainless build than Primal Rage warrior doesn't mean it isn't(/wasn't) broken.

Yeah axe thumper is about the most degenerate build in guild wars. Since you brought it up that's exactly what PR reminded me of, except when it's a warrior being a retard on wheels that is apparently brave rather than gimmicky.

axe thumpers are weaker, purely because they don't have a uber bull's strike, nor do they have access to shock. that's a lot of disruption that they'll have to do without. but certainly, they are easier to play. so i guess if you suck badly enough, then axe thumper is for you.

ummm, they dont have [bull's strike]? what? why???
yes they will have it on 0 spec but they still have it, and you use [bull's strike] for the kd not damage so it's still effective without any points in Strength...
yes they will miss [shock] but so do plenty of Warrior bars nowadays, not everyone is a Shock Axe you know...

You can use Bull's Strike with a RaO, exactly the same way a warrior do, plus there are some KD and interruption pet skills.
About the "brainless" part, well, if a Axe RaO is brainless, the PR warrior is brainless too, excluding the part of canceling PR with Rush, indeed, both use almost the same skills for damage/interruptions, if not exactly the same skills, their jobs are very similar.
Anyway, I understand this thread is not about what is better than PR, but about PR is broken. And my opinion wasn't about starting a discussion about RaOs, but just to say I don't care PR is broken.
(I hope my english doesn't sucks too much)

^ what he said. not to mention, a warrior's bull's strike is almost always an auto 100 damage hit. combine that with 3 sec KD and you'll realize that it will outweigh whatever advantage a R/W RaO axe can give you... assuming you can land it..

I don't care if they delete the entirety of PvE. Apparently the people that play PvE like it, so Anet doesn't. Apparently the people that play PvP didn't like that PR was broken, so Anet changed it.
