Now everytime I go in there with a war, I dont ever get a monk. This gets extra frustrating after 4 hours of having no monk AND having monks on the other team THEN beating down that team with lethal damage, after which I get on my monk and I get 3 other healers on my team.

This seems to happen to me quite often also, though it might just be coincidental, I dunno. I think a lot more testing would need to be done to actually prove anything, but the numbers you have are pretty funny already.
Also to everyone flaming him for random reasons just to try to be cool, you are morons.

International RA is serious business with significantly better players... Not during newb hours. Monk teams or not, they all have a high potential to reach 10 wins.
In case of American RA, echo mending wammo infuse hamstorm healinghands para frenzyhealsig BIP suicides rule. So it really depends on which one ur talking about.

Thanks for the report
I have noticed that I usually never get a monk on my team playing my mesmer. I know it is random arena, and it is supposed to be random, but damn lemme have a monk already.

I get making a thread to complain about getting a second monk in RA, but including the part about 12 wins out of 56 matches only invites ridicule instead of discussion.
I've often had the experience of getting no monk playing off-monk, and then immediately getting a second monk when I make the switch myself. I usually chaulk it up to other players getting frustrated at the same time as me and doing the same thing. To be honest I've played an embarrassing amount of RA in the past and facing teams with 2+ monks is fairly infrequent. It just seems otherwise when you're frustrated about getting no monks and then as luck would have it, you get one when you don't want one. I know your fancy graph indicates otherwise, but in my experience, that behavior isn't really the norm.

In other, actually helpful news, you could perform a statistical analysis by:
-collecting data on the overall proportion of monks played compared to other classes
-You could then take this proportion (probably between 1/8 and 1/5) and compare it to the proportion of monks when playing non-monk and when playing monk
-using a chi-square analysis test
-That would provide near conclusive evidence, given a large enough sample, that playing monk results in 2+ monk teams.
-youre welcome
