well iway is back.... :/ look at all the high ranked shitters running it now farm farm farm the skill has been broken since day 1 and any build that was decent to take it down has been nerfed so what does izzy do just keep buffing shit till its viable again. "pnh" need i say more i mean for christ sake if we didnt already have enough non skilled r12-15 people yes most of them got well over 1/2 the way to theyre ranks using it and then spent the last 2 years bagging anyone that played a broken build and now look who's back on the bandwagon. so we make pnh so broken that 1 skill makes running iway easy again make it so the hexes that made running a full team of them are useless not to mention all the other hexes anyone tries to run. izzy has made no secret of the fact he loves the skill the bloody thing should be an elite for starters i mean its the craziest buff in the game used on the highest armor characters in the game and makes them attack faster to boot. this isnt broken? ........... please . do we really need to regress 3 years with people already leaving the game due to stupid nerfs and buffs.

and while i am on the subject am i the only one who is sick of seeing 1v1s in halls where 1 team just has to body block the others ghostly and the game is over? does this require skill? the answer is no! is it a broken game mechanic? yes it is! should it be fixed? yes it should!! do they care? obviously not!! or it would be fixed already i mean i was watching iway hold halls just before . yes!! iway is holding halls wtf is with that? pnh!! nuff said ... anyway watching iway hold halls and they body block the ghost 1v1 the game is over. why? because once one of em dies bring on iway and we can tank in savanah or w/e the hell you throw at them and there aint a damn thing anyone can do about it! they just block it till they rack up enough points to win and then its over anyway sure the other team can kill theyre ghost but it dont matter its still over. best you can hope for is a relic run cap points are out so if iway is in halls you have a 1 in 3 chance of winning or even putting up a fight because game mechanics and izzys love for a skill will own you. so whats the alternative? lets all play iway !! how much fun is that going to be i mean seriously i cant wait . as if the game isnt dead enough. of course there are people that are going to love it.. low ranks will get a few cheap fame over other low ranks with it and feel a warm fuzzy feeling thinking they have mastered ha! high ranks will farm fame and then sell it to low ranks because iway is set and forget. and then when izzy finally admits he has screwed all ha players enough he will finally break the build a little somehow so he can say he tried but he never really and then we will again have high ranked useless players running around ha all over again getting screamed at in all chat for being so bad. aint ha fun........

iway has it's counters like any other build out there. if ur unable to recognize or execute the counters, then u deserve to lose. builds may seem overpowered but u give the same overpowered build to inexperienced players and it'll be half as effective or worse. no matter what high ranked players play, it's gonna seem extremely effective because they know what they are doing, lol. stop qq'ing and go play iway if u think it'll get u free fame. if u think it won't, that's becuase u don't run it well enough. there are always gonna be certain things that seem stronger than others. certain things will always have advantages over others. if ur not willing to exploit the things that are more powerful, ur doomed to a long road of slow fame farming. what intelligence is there and saying "i'm not going to use that build, it's too overpowered!".........

At least iway has 8 players. I've ran it quite a few times (about all you can reliably pug @ any rank sadly), the only skill that makes the current iway work is Ether Prism. Keep QZ and NR down and you'll win, I only see balanced lose to iway when they are bad or make a lot of mistakes. But yeah, it is pretty lame when you see people forming r10+ iway pugs with pve wars only and you know they only play fotm's.

I have faced pretty much every IWAY team with nearly 6 man pug teams (So I pugged 8 people) in a balanced build.

So far, I've lost 1 time to [KMT] (The old swayers, who bought [NoT]), and I've beat them about 6 times orso. They are by far the best IWAY out there tough, but even beating them is a joke.

I think our mesmer went afk halfway in the match, and even then we nearly beat them. (Problem was we couldn't kill the eles fast enough with them keeping a warding/shadow on themselves)

Nontheless, the build is hardly OP, and aside from hway not being able to beat it, I don't think it needs to be nerfed...

I don't play HA as much anymore but last time I played I was on PD and camped their ranger so he didn't get any spirits off and had to use oath shot. PD'ed the oath shot and the ranger was out of commission for a while and then changed focus to E/Rts and they went down after that.

Another useful skill against any flavour of iway is taint. Also having good backline helps.

The current build is a half-assed attempt at getting the same pressure steady stance iway had...except fear me! doesn't do shit even when QZ is up (steady stance was a constant barrage or fear me!). I think if you ran some real skills on the warriors like 2 eviscerates with bull's, a cripslash, an ES warrior and an infuriating heat ranger it would actually be quite hilarious like dongway. Dongway with the para backline is impossible to pug because nobody knows how to run the paras, using an infuriating heat ranger with the prisms and pnh monk it might be an ok pug build with decent warriors.

Modern IWAY is a trash build but it stomps the four-backline meta nonsense, and that's why people run it with success. If you run basic meta palm strike shit vs. modern IWAY then you should get rolled if the IWAY team isn't retarded.
