Some would say that AB is for pve'ers to get accustom to PvP. But I want to know what do you use AB for? Is it just for the fun of it. Or do you use it to master some small tactics that you need to work on for your GvG mentality?

My reason:
I do AB mostly for the chance that I will get to go 1v1 with someone else. I know that you are suppose to go and cap the shrines to get points. But I use AB to refine my abilities with my characters, my monk to help with my ability to metigate damage, my warrior to locate key targets early, my ranger to improve at interrupts and snares.

So post your thoughts...

Because I like to play ranger and it's not terribly fun to play ranger in RA when you're bored and have nothing else to do.

AB is good balthazar faction on the double weekends, that's usually the only time i play it. That and saying stupid one-liners in all chat and then sitting back and watching all the mad little PvE'rs go batshit insane over it. Fun times.

I do it for the grind of the SoT_ title, I already unlocked all skills/mods/heros so I use Balth for Zkeys.

Specific things I like to do in AB:

-incite violence in all chat
-d-shot avatar dervs
-corpse hump VoR mesmers
-bait idiots auto following into the ele shrine or allied groups
-pester eles

Dunno maybe some other stuff

I AB for fun with my guild, or when I need luxon faction for a new pve skill...

Its not fun when you dont win, or dont have someoneto participate with you, but with a guild group on vent u can own pretty hard and have fun at the same time

Either playing Incendiary Arrows (I love that, so imbalanced) or playing Cripshot / Melshot with Bull's Strike. There's always Boon Prot too, and those 'Sin Ganks. Heck I even Monk with Bull's Strike on my bar.

I do it for the lulz.

That includes, but it's not limited to:

Snaring people. Cripshot is ftw.
KD people.
Beat the crap out of instagibsins.
KD kurzicks.
Make fun of ninja monks and bambi spammers.
KD stuff.
Searching for 1v1's.
Killing tanks.

Helluvalotta fun, even if we lose.

Nothing, and I mean nothing is as much fun as Verata's Aura'ing the enemy team when they decide to cluster their mm's together
