I'm semi-new at this, so I've been studying the ladder, watching videos and keeping track of who's moving up and down and who's improving and who is not and based on that, these are my predictions:
1) rawr <-- These guys hate to lose, the extended edition is quickly rising in the ranks and not only that, they know GvG
2) KMD <-- This team rocks, but rawr's probably been practicing
3) yumy <-- these guys are hungry for a good win
4) AA
5) dirt
6) Badv
7) DP
8) KK
The problem with predictions though is who draws who so we'll see.

Just seems like since the meta is still so cheesed up, it's going to be whomever best abuses the broken parts the best, heh. I don't care so much about who finishes where, as normally I'm happy just to watch, but it seems like this is just a rematch of last month's mAT. Boring x_x
1-4, in any order: rawr, dirt, kmd, dP.
5-8: AA, badv, bE, kk
It would be nice to see another first time gold cape given out, I won't lie [rawr] seems to be doing better this month (more practice?), and KMD is still doing well. There's been some losses, but find me someone that never loses, ever :P I'm just not sure what happened to [shat], as they seemed to get roflstomped whenever I watched them :x Dirt got close last month, so I can see them possibly pushing ahead this month.
Yet, as I said before, borrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrring. If I'm bored watching, I can't even imagine what it's like playing it :P

I am going to go with something like everyone has been saying.
1-4: rawr, dirt, kmd, dp
5-8: kk, badv, cry, yumy
Though I dont want to pick yumy cause I do no think they are playing well. They have lost to nh several times recently, but some of the nh team were players from yumy.
AA starts well then makes flaws in matches and lose when they should not.
nH time and time again fail of a pick.
be could sneak end depending on who draws who.
Shat a considerate. Depends on how they play.

We are definitely hungry, but probably not for a good win though.
I'm also changing my predictions due to super secret info, moving yumy down.

2. dP- A guild that's still one of the best despite their sad finals performance last month.
3. KMD- Finally got the gold last month, but can they do it again or fall back to their everlasting silvers again.
4. KK- Gimmick city, but have been losing to every other guild when they try to sinsplit.
5. BadV- Still should be a top contender, but on the decline.
6. DirT- They always seem to get silver, and it'll depend on pairings for top 8.
7. AA- One of the better teams, but would need a vR-esque miracle to get them past top 8.
8. StP- If they play, they should get silver or top 8.
Some other silvers:
sKy- Serious ladder farmers like RIP, but should still make silver.
be- Wooooo be team.
yumy- Along with nH, dominating the American shitters in late night ATs. But that doesn't mean much in the mAT.
nH- They won't have rawr guests for the mAT, so we'll see how they do.
Holz- Samy will lead this guild to victory!
OdS- Have been playing a lot, and hopefully getting better.
Cry- We'll see if they can actually beat teams this time.
Shat- Same as StP.

Hey guys, this is my first time looking at these mAT threads, and while they may be helpful, the XTH doesn't use their tags (which I find dumb, what the hell is the point of the tag then?), so can you guys help me name most of the guilds you speak of? Such as:
dP
DirT
KK
KMD - I know this one is Straight Outta Kamadan
rawr - Rebel Rising
OdS
nH
yumy
BadV
NeiN
AA
Sky
StP
Thanks in advance

They're a candidate for silver and with a 'lucky' pairing in the single elim possibly top 8 but they're kinda bad at build wars.

Basically we are the core team of The Evernight. Just with a few rosterchanges.
I wouldn't call us a rising star. We have our good and bad games (days) as almost every guild and as Mitch said, we aren't good at build wars.
It's like every mAT. A lot depends on your opponents. With [EUR] we faced yumy on american servers and shat in the last two rounds and went from 3/1 to 3/3. With a bit luck we could have finished 4/2 or 5/1 aswell.
My tipps:
#1 dP
#2 KMD
#3 DirT
#4 StP (just because Master is a God walking amongst mere mortals )
#5 rawr
#6 yumy
#7 cry
#8 BadV
Other possible top8 candidates: KK, AA, be, hent, AxE, sad, holz (if they decide to play A/P spike the whole tourney, because that's the only thing they're really good with), tO and sKy (tho I don't hope so).

1. BadV - yes we can.
2. KMD - mitch cant win 2 gold capes in a row.
3. Dirt - they look pretty strong, i have no idea why
4. dP - they were in top4 in every MT this year, but I guess they will fail at buildwars
5. rawr - polly dies on frenzy too many times
6. KK - if they play spike whole tournament
7. sky - they can play spike rly good, depends on who they face in 1/16
8. yumy? cry? - i dont know who else can be in top8, cry is fine if they have good monks, and yumy is good on american servers.

My updated picks:
1. rawr 2.0 (motivated to get gold on new guild)
2. KMD (would be epic fail if they don't at least make top 4)
3. dP (always a factor in the mAT)
4. DirT
5. yumy (what is Divine's super secret info?)
6. BadV
7. KK
8. AA

The knock on them is that they have been farming late-nite AT's full of mediocre Americans, or that they only play well on American servers. But I saw them recently play in two Daily A's, full of euros, and they went 9-1, with wins over AA, KK, and sKy.

we clearly only won those matches because of American servers, according to every euro team we beat in Daily A AT's
